that case. i have reverence for all of the commissioners. they have been phenomenal in their time. as the body of civilians, i will always respect them, because it took tremendous courage for them to come up with the decisions they did in many of the cases they have had. we have seen what happens with the messenger. in has been a historic moment for you. for those who want to continue as 860 family -- as a city family, the san francisco people spoke in 1999. case 11048, about the phantom 14 pages, will eventually become the pentagon papers of san francisco. president chiu: thank you. next speaker.

sheriff. we saw what happened to them. it is no surprise with this mayor. maybe we should schedule a wrestling match. it would be a good fund-raising event. i would like to think the board of supervisors for everyone sitting here contentedly. we have chastised the board for walking, eating, etc.. i am glad all of you remembered the citizens are the boss. you are the employees. sit there and take it for a few minutes. in reality, this is what the city really feels. unfortunately, not many people have the guts to say it. lombard maybe the crookedest

street in the world, but san francisco may be proven the crookedest city in the world. "the untouchables "coke is still being shown. take a look at it. hopefully, some will walk through the front door and slapped down a certain piece of paper. thank you. president chiu: next speaker. >> i am richard. i will be leaving the sunshine ordinance task force as soon as my successor is named. i was one of two votes who voted against the task force rules change the board has found to be objectionable. i want to say there is ambiguity in the charter that i think needs to be addressed. it rules that each part of the

exact a branch of the city and county, of which the task force is not one -- it does not include the phrase, "of the executive branch." it refers to a board commission. if the language can be reconciled, it will help all boards and commissions, going forward. here is the real problem, as i see it. it does not say whether a vacant seat or an absentee counts as a member for purposes of a majority vote. robert's rules of order was silent on that question. i would request the charter language be rewritten. a couple of things i want to clarify. it is unfortunate that the supervisor has chosen to miss characterize the task force

reaction to the service. we did not object to it. we objected to the surreptitious manner in which it was commissioned. we also found fault with the survey. we thought it was slipshod. finally, i leave the task force not because i am unable to continue, but because after 10 years it is time to step aside and allow new ideas. i think the supervisor for his remarks. i also want to tip my cap to the deputy clerk. president chiu: thank you very much. next speaker. >> blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness.

yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the fulfillment of the words of the lord jesus christ in matthew, chapter 24 and 14. he said the gospel would be preached in all the world as a witness, and then the end will come. nothing happened, but something did happen. i am really wondering if this is sufficient to keep coming up here. this may be my last time. i have just with five seconds saying that, did i not? last week, we learned about the best talk show host in the family radio. the reason why that is the truth is because it is the only radio station that reads the word of god with no comment.

jesus said, "judge not, and be not judged." it will be measured back to you again. cast out the demon in your own eyes. if i was like the sheriff, and by the way, i think sure of mercury me ought to sit at his feet and learn from him -- if i had a fraudulent birth certificate, i would have to cast out the beam in my own eye. we have not had a president. that is a felony. he ought to be arrested. i hope the next one does not wind up dead, and the sheriff will not wind up dead, or the guy who wrote "the abomination."

president chiu: thank you very much. next speaker. >> hello, everyone. i live in san francisco. i want to thank you very much, supervisor, for entering the disease awareness month resolution into the record. i really appreciate it. thank you for acknowledging my work over the last several years. we caught somebody here at city hall with lyme disease. that is a real accomplishment. that shows that the reason we do this is to help people who find out they may have the disease. in my case, it was the same story. i did not know i had it for 25 years. it was someone in virginia, online, who told me i had mine disease. i typed back, "what is this?"

i had been written in 1981, and a health clinic had said the tech would take it out. i am one of the few people who knows they have been bitten by a tick. they are small. they are as small as poppyseed out there. they are everywhere now. birds are carrying them. animals carry them. it is an opportunity for people to learn that something as small as a poppyseed might be turning their health upside-down. early symptoms include a rash, flu symptoms, numbness, fatigue, pain. developing symptoms are more severe throughout the whole body. people who are sick need to see a doctor. a recent buy it needs to be treated with appropriate antibiotics. we have eight people in san francisco who have contracted it
