practices. downtown particular and in the union square powell street those are areas i was in and i noticed many more officers on and that tooich increase security i think wentrcm along to are you sure our community that we were on alert here. the the public statements made by chief as the events were unfolding of the course of the week i think also we're very reassuring to the community and just wanted to, you know, thank the department for that increase in security and awareness and

about that >> that's right and as i shared with everyone on television about mistakes in my own life but my car was broke into at 8 o'clock in the morning so just because robberies happen they don't just happen in the early morning. i'm glad to see the data driven police. the other thing i want to say appreciated the community meeting that happened after the officer involved shooting i got feedback from the community. i do think that's important that while the department there's 4

prioritize the police officers i want to highlight. i've got feedback from some of the higher property crimes they don't get the response from it is police so i think this goes along way and have you talk to the chief. it's important for each person who come into report a crime they have some transparences around the crimes whether there's physical evidence. some of those folks need to understand why they're not running to investigate their crime right now. this is a great tool. i don't know if captains are
