we need this initiatives in the district to support the instructions. and when we were facing extreme budget kits in 2010 as it stands the funding here will expire after 2 and a half years instead of 10. while he feel that restoring those funds is an important step to the accountability of the parents and children in san francisco schools. we still would like to call this out and make sure that those efforts are maintained for the life of pta and for a final note we're still looking for additional members to our committee.

hard to do? >> hello. so i i think it's a part of a large plan and our hope is that next year we'll be able to double. and talking about scale this is a cross collaborative effort so working with the math department we knew there was going to be a lot to work out and be very clear about the alignment across the departments. so in making sure that our design level were consistent. we also implemented a standard process so all that work has position us to scale and my hope

report but it's fairly minimal. i have asked in the past with when there's an impact of the school loop. this doesn't tell us so specifically i'm looking at the budget is that 67 pictures of the total funds that is allocated for technology? >> so it's kind of complicated. the circle is roughly 6 percent of that it includes the stipend we pay the teachers to help support those sites. >> what do the teachers do? they provided training. >> and how much are those

stipends and is it at each school. it's $500 >> so do you have that broken down of how much goes into the technicalities? how much goes to the stipend? i'm looking that as 4.5 million you say so my pardon me experience i was a registered how would that updates, in fact, it happened once in the whole semester year. and have teachers participated so when i look at this this data doesn't tell me i guess about how many teachers are using on a regular basis.

i think we get a school - i've got 10 of them. it w it was supposed to be used as a feedback. also there is still issues with translation proper translation of chinese. i'd like that looked into. i think it was designed to be a great vehicle for continuation i

think that the use among teachers from what i'm hearing is sporadic and it's good information about the child's process if you could look into that that's great. thanks much. >> i'd like to follow-up and have more school loop and it's effectiveness. we the what i think was the appropriate thing to do was to get people to voluntarily participate. and teachers as well as school

board members think that's fantastic and it's changed their cultural. what people say about it and how we're planning to take it to the next level or not. leaving it the way we started it when we started it we don't want this to look like in the end i want to know what the next steps are >> couple of things the sporadic use or mandatory use of

supervisor garcia said we need to have ever teacher trained before the roll out. the training has notary republic not been trained so for that reason we've never made it mandatory. i think the next - we've met with our labor department over the principle guidelines he in terms of use. some schools can say that every teacher should use >> we should be talking about if we have a goal to make it

mandate. what can we do to help you support the discussion. in terms of the question is is this what schools need and what are schools telling us about the regulatory of their classroom technology base platforms etc. i don't know if that's your job but it's our job to take the next step and talk about that. we hope it's going to get better but we haven't talked about the index - next step

>> actually at any daughters school it's great. i have to say that one child 6 out of 6 teachers are using that. when i send a message to staff i hear back within 24 hours. it's a great tool everyday i get a message, huh? the social studies grade went down. it's much more efficient way of communicating with teachers. their teachers about dash off a quick e-mail so and so said

about - the great fear in my experience is not teachers wanting to use school loop it's teachers have such unfettered assess and how to see the students are checking themselves dad can i go to the movies thrnd here's my school report. it's great to - my experience has been similar and we're moving towards making sure you all our professionals have the training necessary and once it exists in the school site it

teachers and they work across 12 schools and we reach about 60 teachers in total because each master teacher works between 3 and 4 other teachers at the site. we have 5 teachers involved in the lessons site. and we in total the program reaches about one-hundred and 20 educators. >> at what grade level usually? >> pre k, 12. >> any more questions? >> not a question i'd like to comment on school loop i really enjoy it it helps me track my

days we don't see the way parity is described in this resolution. we've been open about this in our discussions about it. please keep in mind that administrators are being restored for a whole day and teachers for a half of day. while it is true the unit folks took a whole day only u s f gave the district over $23 million over the next. is unaudited actually shows $11 million more than when feels projected inform this year. this calls for a revised calendar this wasn't bargained

and the unstructural collapsed was supposed to be calendar. we've filed a grievance. so i ask for june 3rd which is now going to be scheduled as professional development day which will be a fur low day. it's a perfect opportunity to do some professional development it would be perhaps professional development on non-inclusive packages. it still is over a month away we have time to plan. we believe there should be no furlough days this year. please vote no and instead restraining order restore you'll of the
