make sure we keep a significant japan town in san francisco. so many people have given their time and energy i want to mention two people in particular. robert of the japan town task force who is really committed to this and steve who i might butch his last name i truly, truly appreciate their commitment to this project in general. thank you all so much for your hard work. the community top priority to preserve japan town. the community identified over 3 hundred cultural buildings and businesses and cultural activities. the vision of j h s is it san

francisco would survive and serve the japanese community. generations to come. the j s includes and designs to encourage economic development and revisit in the businesses in j turning to town. some of those recommendations obey implemented by the city and county of san francisco and many of them by the numerous business owners. keeping in mind that the nuclear e unique history i believe it's imperfect we work to protect this neighborhood by endorsing the economic stnltd strategy as city policy. last week the planning commission unanimously endorsed j h s and as supervisor in district 5 i'm in full support
