>> i'd like to thank mayor ed lee for the appointment and ask for your support for that nomination or i want the opportunity to continue as a commissioner. my family came from the philippines in 20080 i've would here for over 33 years. i'm proud to be a physiological important i've had the opportunity to visit any places but san francisco is the best macy's mass to live and work. i have over 23 years as a graphic designer where i am a engineer. i volunteer my time in graphic design for several grassroots

organizations as my way of giving back to san francisco my adopted home a city i love that has given opportunities for me and my family. i'm currently, the president of the philippines organization that is to is not of filipino cultural. we produce events that promote and foster community empowerment. it would be an honor to serve another term as a commissioner. the last four years flew by quicker. i can still be a positive contributor. i with representatives from the san francisco police department and ferment and mayor's office

of neighborhood services and planning department and advocacy groups with the support of our director we were able to bring together industries to open channels of communication for calculations to farther healthy save and a 1r50i7b9 community in so far. second i worked with our staff to produce the safety and absurdity best practices guide establishment. this guidebook offers a road map for owners and manages to maintain ventures that be r are free from violence. second i sign our new logo for the entertainment commission and our first annual report. for the next 4 years many of my

goals include to build a strong partnership with the police department and continue to be an advocate for the neighborhoods concerns. to continue the dialog about keeping observe neighborhoods vibrant and save. keep doing the engineering dine from paper forms to an o online applications to streamline the process between department. and last but not least i would to help produce the letter for the commission this can help us to communities and remind our constituents about legislation that effects the entertainment

group i'm on the committee as a community infrastructure the successor agency to the san francisco redemonstrate commission appointed by mayor lee. i served on the task force. i'm here to ask you to repoint out this gentleman for another four years. commissioner perez is a leading leader and it will insure that the entertainment industry in san francisco will continue to progress. as you know the entertainment industry in san francisco tributes billion dollars $4.2 billion they've hosted spending consumers and those

night time activities have helped with the people to get employed asians and african-americans. commissioner perez brings his expertise to the commission. he organized the first neighborhood summit and personally, i. grateful to the commissioner for steadfast support of the filipino anti violation awareness. those last 10 years for the production of the vagina dialog and the anti violence resource guide. he produced the dance pledge against city hall. we need to make sure that neighborhoods are represented.

i urge you to vote for mr. perez >> good afternoon. commissioner i'm helen. i was a former library commissioner in 2000 to 2008. i've served in the housing commission since 1970 and a survivor of feinsteins appointment to the advisory committee. i want you to know that mr. perez not only brings his unique contributions to the community bio but to network with all the agencies including the sports people all of a sudden we're dealing with the sports in san francisco. we're very proud of his work because one he's a peace maker and he understands community.

hall during the restoration. i know the restoration intent and therefore have the background necessary to understand how this complex building should be agriculturely maintained. i was a liaison nor the engineering firms to meetings within willie brown and couped the mayor. i worked on the prestige of the san francisco project i helped in the lashgd process. i worked on the hampton building restoration and was the personal recipient of an american institute of nra for work on the building as well as a

preservation award. my community efforts on behalf of the fostering and understanding civil rights and stopping hate crimes in the pink triangle on twin peaks and supervisor cowen has been to three of those events. in summer i have compassion on this building. i even designed this room including the heighten door each of you passed through and as well as all our offices and the reworking of the mayor's office and on the fourth floor. i feel my education and preservation experience and background related to city hall's restoration give me expertise and thank you firing consideration >> any questions? >> i can't think of a question
