night time activities have helped with the people to get employed asians and african-americans. commissioner perez brings his expertise to the commission. he organized the first neighborhood summit and personally, i. grateful to the commissioner for steadfast support of the filipino anti violation awareness. those last 10 years for the production of the vagina dialog and the anti violence resource guide. he produced the dance pledge against city hall. we need to make sure that neighborhoods are represented.

i urge you to vote for mr. perez >> good afternoon. commissioner i'm helen. i was a former library commissioner in 2000 to 2008. i've served in the housing commission since 1970 and a survivor of feinsteins appointment to the advisory committee. i want you to know that mr. perez not only brings his unique contributions to the community bio but to network with all the agencies including the sports people all of a sudden we're dealing with the sports in san francisco. we're very proud of his work because one he's a peace maker and he understands community.

preservation award. my community efforts on behalf of the fostering and understanding civil rights and stopping hate crimes in the pink triangle on twin peaks and supervisor cowen has been to three of those events. in summer i have compassion on this building. i even designed this room including the heighten door each of you passed through and as well as all our offices and the reworking of the mayor's office and on the fourth floor. i feel my education and preservation experience and background related to city hall's restoration give me expertise and thank you firing consideration >> any questions? >> i can't think of a question

architect. we're in the window the ground was broken for city hall on april the 5th of 1913 and the building opened to the public and to the city on december 28th of 1950 pr this appointment is particularly important given the boards historic role as the integrity guide for this people. this appointment will, in fact, fill that role and modern guarantee that everything will be with the desperate that the board has always wanted. i spronl urge you to agree with the mayor's recommendation and affirm this nomination

i actually know the gentleman he was i guess and still is according to his resume on the development committee. i'm not certain without a conversation with him to know the balancing of the responsibilities and understanding directly from him why he wants to serve on this that and how it plays into the rule. the supervisor of the district hadn't indicated to me one way or the other but i prefer we meet with him or get some feedback as to the balancing of the two positions because i did have a few yes, sir. and i can support that >> who do you call?
