the agenda raising the f line to 6 thousands that's outrageous if you have a high cash fair a sudden increase in the adult and senior fair that wouldn't be an issue but if, if you have a high fair you have a clipper card so you can get small steps and no one ever bothered to come down and get upset it would help picking up a few dimes and nickels. it's difficult i have to pay full price they can pay full price even in new york it's hard to figure out the system that

>> public transit is a necessity most of the people are permitting transit did not many of us we struggle with because we rely on an ssi income it went if $10 to $33 that may not be a significant number but every nickle-and-dime counts we can only afford to buy one muni pass so they can run errands and go to decreases appointment if we can alleviate some of the costs that will greatly increase the quality of life for people where the cost of living is so high. >> thank you very much spinal cords. >> that's the time we can ask the members of our organization

12:40 pm
for and that doesn't include a rainy day fund it is inconsul to make sure that the vehicle license fee on the ballot this fall is a source for operating services. this is an opportunity for infrastructure and capital needs there are a few sources that are for operating revenues and b o f is a annual source it can be achieved with a 50 percent vote and it be available for the operating budget. the other 4 points quickly there are a number of resources that have been identified in the budget it's hard to take those soirl. they're not credible sources and we feel all of those should be rejected i'm talking about the f

line fair and not raising the senior discount fair and underscore the need for the b o f third we're opposed to the sunday meters and it's bad policy and we can't food it and fourth a few more seconds we're strongly in support of providing some benefits for cash clipper users especially, as we move into - >> next speaker please. >> the last thing. >> okay. you've been around a long time we can't do that. next speaker please (calling names) >> good afternoon, sir.

seniors and the people the freedom to move around in the city and lessen the burdens on the family that are taking care of them. >> (speaking foreign language.) >> thus people younger people we used to have to spend a lot of time taking care of they're seniors will have more time to do other things instead. >> (speaking foreign language.) >> this - as a result he or she will be able to be more focused at the work and focused at the things he wants to do. >> (speaking foreign language.) >> and this proposal is not only being limited to san

12:46 pm
looking at seniors and people with sdabltsdz it's up to us to make sure we have all the tents to be active to get easily not only to decreases appointment but to a be able to visit friends and could to city hall and be active in a variety of ways. of course, there's a discount but for someone living on social security people pay for food and medication there's nothing left for transportation. it should not be a luxury we want to thank those who fought hard and that's been a success and this is the clear next step to go ahead and make that program permanent and do free

metropolitan for seniors and folks with disabilities (clapping.) next speaker >> (calling names). >> good afternoon, sir. >> i recently moved to san francisco having retired i want to congratulate you on the wonderful transportation service you have here in san francisco. i'm here to ask you to reject the proposal for a premium fair on the f line. i live near the pier 29 the telegraph area of san francisco and what i'd like to emphasis is number one the f line is not simply an amount of time park ride for tourists that's a line that's used by people who go to
12:48 pm
work and myself. number 2 recently, i building in the last few years the line was kate cut back number ten so we rely on the f line and number 3 we all pay taxed san francisco taxes and it seems like if a more than average increase in the f line fair is required maybe there should be some allowance for city residents if you use the clipper card they shelled believable to do that. i ask you not support the premium line for the f line >> thank you very much. next speaker. >> herbert wooirn i definitely

don't want the racing the bus service we should be paid to ride it. i do support free rides for seniors hates very important. i think they've suffered by walking long dances to the buses and that's a fair compensation so those are thoughts i've got you think the whole thing about sunday parking has to be thrown out. i know people who say they're going to shoot in daily city but there's no way to show there's a benefit for the sunday parking it's vital to the city that money. those are the thoughts he you should taking into consideration this is a bad proposal for a bad budget.
