year scholarship to the academy of art. i can't say enough about her, she's passionate and she must be reappointed to the graffiti advisory board. thank you for your time. >> julie >> good afternoon, supervisors, julie su, i currently sit on the commission on the status of women and i am here to speak in support of rebecca delgado rottman on her reappointment to the graffiti advisory committee. she was the first philipino appointed in san francisco and while we have short memories she was on the democratic committee in early 2000. she takes a community approach. she's been part of the violence -- anti-violence against women advocacy as well and much as we see with the anti-violence council where it takes a

holistic approach, the community coming together with different agencies , we were able to combat homicides related to domestic violence for 44 months. and this kind of graffiti abatement takes a community approach as well and she's been a great mentor to all the students and to get them engaged, as you recognize the academy of art university has a lot of international students, it's important to get them engaged to really understand how our country works and the importance of community involvement, also reaching out to the younger students to have respect of other people's property and also to reach out to those students who might think of art as a career. i hope you give due consideration, you have seen all the great support for her, she is a wonderful community leader, rebecca delgado rottman ?oo ?a any other public comments on this matter? seeing none, supervisor campos,

11:08 am
forward with recommendation. >> supervisor campos. >> i'm happy to join that recommendation. i just want to make a couple points about my two nominees for district 9, pat delgado, from whom you've heard. she truly is an institution in that neighborhood and what she has done for her community goes beyond, you know, she really is incredible in terms of what she does not only for our parks, open space, but for the whole community. so i'm very grateful to pat that she is willing to serve yet again. tom valtin is not here today because he had a long-planned family vacation at spring break for he and his family. i know tom takes this very seriously, does great work and i know he will continue to do a good job for district 9 and for the two other candidates, mr. nick

11:11 am
it goes before the board. >> say that again. >> i would ask that you rescind the vote first and then duplicate the hearing file so that we can create two separate motions so that when it goes to the full board we have two separate votes. >> okay, for item no. 3, is there a motion to rescind? >> so moved. >> no objection, so the vote has been rescinded. >> and then a duplication. duplicate the file, a motion to duplicate? >> is there a motion? >> make a motion to duplicate file 140300, one with appointment of eddie ahn and the second with the appointment

tourism in upper california is the most attractive tourism designation in the united states and we see that today. i check the 5 o'clock we carry only 95 from the island and the rest is in paris and all over europe that's basically the next step not only to connect idling island to california and europe but the whole world. we have an irish community in san francisco we believe approximately 4 hundred and 50 thousand people and building it or not lingus makes half of its revenue we call them relatives and family. we have 70 million people worldwide but it's a huge market
11:29 am
and that's basically our mission we want to complete the mission every year and this flight to san francisco contributes. we have one hundred and 50 years old we thought of something of our flying equipment it is in 3 o'clock we e 3:30 we took over the north atlantic and the designation is ireland the sf our more importantly all the the aircraft's is called for our crew after 12 hours of work still big miles. >> thank you very much
