community has a lot of challenges around access to health care and employment and safety and a lot of challenges shared by the lgbt community in general but a lot of unique challenges that go beyond that. i know that so many people worked hard to make sure the transgender community what move forward and address those challenges but some things that get lost in the shuffle is so many positive strengths in the transgender community we get caught up with the challenges we don't focus enough publicly will the about how far and strength of this community just a few kwoogz weeks ago at the transgender center we subjected the biggest event of the day remembering the crimes and the

go to sf.org and the bridge replacement project is moving forward a recent caltrain inspection of that bridge identified evidence of deterioration for emergency repairs so supervisor cowen said authorized the repairs to the bridge the repairs don't effect the traditional bye the bridge must be replaced so we're seeking a caltrain track plan to have that ahead of the local bridge program so we'll be doing outreach on the bridge project including at your seniors advisory meeting tomorrow night on 1455 market street on the

condition of the status and the street vacation project to maximize contracting associated with those projects. tiger planning the good news on the transit front we're partnering with that on a large $3 million study we hope to receive grant fund from the federal government to look at the transmitting transbay and the connecting services from the recent adapted transportation plan and set up to prioritization and capacity improvements for consideration in the next regional transbay plan in 2017. on a related note i attend on update from tom and gras who

presented at a recent breakfast event to the community both their plans to improve bart and for anyone who has taken bart those places are exploding many ridership. so bart discussed they're big 3 projects to shore up capacity for maintenance facility and i'll keep you posted on that we'll know by summer. we attend a spur panel on highway 101 to present on san francisco to see how we might develop a more efficient carpool lanes and possibly even explore an express lanes where the
