deputy superintendent >> good evening i have the privilege of substituting i want to share today is at the white house science fair to get more boys and girls into technology or math and u.s. 2020 said san francisco was the winner of the national competition for the mentoring eight of the largest occupations between 2020 are in the stem fields yet most states have not had the opportunity to meet and learn from a stem related professional. u.s. 2020 will change that u.s. 2020 led by uc science and health partnership in collaboration with the mayor's office and the san francisco

going to read a letter about what i - this morning my electrician was working at the guarding lop school he noticed a teacher in room 7 crying and asked her what was wrong she was experiencing severe chest pain and pointing to the upper side of her chest. the gentleman called 9-1-1 and got the paramedic go responding he guided here to a chair and she said he was short of breath. he moved her to the floor and waited and gave her improvement and monitored her conditions. the paramedics responded on the scene in about 4 minutes after

his call he handed the teacher off to the paramedics and subsequentially she was transgender to the hospital then manny moved on to the next school this is an accelerant example off our training he didn't hesitate he acted in advance medical care and the teacher was then at the hospital well within the golden hour able to get the care. i wanted to share this with you i think you should be aware of this action pursue i'm proud and grateful that he is in my shop and firmly believe this exemplifies the staff at the unified school district. educators of san francisco actually, it's like went to sleep for a decade and in 3 years ago when the ucsf asked us to attend i went back to the fire extinguisher teachers and said we've got to do something for our students so my daughter who graduated doesn't experience this i'm touched without the u.s. sf improvement and other filipino educators this wouldn't be, you know, this wouldn't have been done. i want to recognize our filipino educators that attended the event last may and i recognize one of the lady and our filipino educators if you're out there in the room i am waving and students i met you once but i
