we're going to hear from a workman's comp woman meeting here today was an amazing experience like antonio frank talked about what happened in the holocaust and gave a glimgs it's amazing it takes a young woman to talk about how we have is a ways to go and that's from julie why in the bay area in this is this day and age a trans woman that goes to school high school was bullied and targeted. and what happened is that instead of going after the people that are that bullying here and abusing her you had the local district attorney when they stride to defend herself they filed criminal charges against her this is high blood pressure in 2013-2014 in the bay

area so the fact she's here tells us we still have a ways to go but there's something to amazing about this community there are people who notwithstanding their anchorage not afraid to speak i so julia on behalf of the all the queer boys and girls that are struggling with who they are even in this bay area thank you so much i am honored to be in your presence. thank you (clapping.) good morning, everyone. i would like to thank you, everyone for letting me be here today. and not everybody knows my story i'm going to give it a brief

story. i was bullied in a very conservative county not like this county that support me right here i was bullied by students the students called me anger you know the word anger they'd call me a faggot and gay why are you dressing like that they wouldn't use gender pronouns it was very hard for me, i'm the only transgender in that school. i mean in the video you see like a clip of it and that's not even half of what happened. the teachers were calling me him and he was not even using the right deterring recognize terms.

and i went to the principle multiple times saying hey, i'm getting bullied and harassed by the students and everyone he goes well, for every student that is in the classroom the school gets money. and i'm like sitting there like okay. so she focused on everything being in the classroom it gets money they get money for every single student so if a student is absent in the classroom they won't get money so then she goes sorry this is happening to you and writes me a note go back to class i went back to class we have this seat

arrangement she goes i don't want i sitting here and she has gum in her mouth and spits it in her hand and into my face. i know the principle isn't going to do anything and the advice principle had a talk with her i could talk about this forever but standing in front of you is a great honor because i would still be in the court system because the district attorney has filed charges against me and now it's dropped because if it wasn't for - (clapping) the lgbtq community backing up me and having my shoulder and having my support i wouldn't be
