approval of the purchase and sale long term property plan on the mixed use project sufrl as you recall it includes commercial space and approximately 48 thousand net museum space dedicated to the mexican museum since this time the project received the approval from the city and the department of finance to project maps have been approved and a site permit has been filed and the architecture design further designed so against the project the developer is waiting for a state date. drawing the mexican museum has made significant progress on the

grant it's strengthened it's organizational capacity by recruiting several new members and establishing an international advisory committee and an art and letters xhoinl council reestablishing it's donor and initiating an audit for 2013 and receiving $196,000 in grant and other in kind nominations disregarding the museum made progress related to the new museum space it's reviewed and digitized nearly all the 15 thousand things in its and it partners with other minority and local small business.

it's completed a 50 percent conceptual plan for the museum space and completed that final drafts the space and strategic plan for the museum space and finally, there's it's negotiating the term of a long-term lease with the city and county of san francisco today two grantss have been authorized under the former agency known as ocii and the mexican museum they're requesting a third disbursement in the amount of $1.3 million for continuance it's efforts those funds will be used for staffing and the consulting needs including the completion of the implementation and the administration of the capital campaign including hiring the

council and the perplex of the strategic plan and business plan and completion of the basic concept design and the nutrition. under the proposed agreement 9 funding will be realtime 2, 3, 4 two bubbles the museum will account for the fund. the proposed agreement also clusz clutsdz included all the small business enterprise program. to date the museum has worked closely with the compliance staff to achieve the lbe participation of the total fees 59 of the firms are locally here and 44.5 percent a woman owned

okay. all right. we figured it out bear with me if you guys don't care i'll kneel. so actually first is a sort of a summary and what my colleagues mentioned that's been an excelling actually process over the last year but significantly over the last 6 months when the mexican museum engaged in the services of aecom which is a global company their office is based in san francisco we selected 3 key individuals with museum background and experience a gentleman named matt dawson

who work with us and has 20 years experience in working with the museum planning and another individual is a former colleague i've worked her on a number of projects and linda chu has of him planning for the culture of the museums and we've been fortunate to have their work going on simultaneously it's a very fortunate process because both processes influence each other so it has enabled our process. i'm here to present the draft concept on behalf of the local architecture firm of ad architects.
