and recommended replacement of the restrooms in order to increase the capacity. on the overhead okay. our images of that restroom building that was designed and approved by this commission and the arts commission that is the modern interpretation of chinese architecture it is increasing the men's room from 4 to 6 and the women's from 2 to 6 and recreational use. the estimated cost of the project at the time of the commission approval of the time was $800,000 plus we put the project out to bid twice. the first time was in may of 2014 we received bids four bids

the bids expedite our project and the average was $1.47 million the high costs for the architecture metal work and the c m u this is what the building is comprised of we looked at creating all of the elements in the project identified 8 possible all of the elements and looked at it modifying the details we simply switched in aluminum to a steel material that brought down the price and did a perform specification so there's no unknowns requiring the contractor to do a mac markup of
