this is the assessment of the property tax for the city and county the base rate t is set by the state constitution the amount above the property tax rate above one percent is determined by how many money is voter approved bonds we're proposing amendments to the amendment that will lower the property tax slightly. bart has a general obligation bond in the property tax rate they don't approve that rate until mid-august the factor was 7 and a half cents of the assess value and the figure was four and a half cents down to 1.473
