very sad news that i am going to ask for a motion shortly yesterday, we as a state last our 9th officer in the nine of duty, an officer from the covina police department, an 28-year-old officer jordan quarter, is his name and he was hired as a community service officer at the police department in 2006. he was hired as a police officer at the department less than a year later last may assigned to the traffic unit as a motorcycle officer and received numerous awards from the mothers against drunk driving and yesterday, while pursuing a subject who was speeding, he was involved in a collision, and he succumbed to his injuries and, so he is survived by his wife, mother diane and his father mark and his father is a retired police department captain. so, it is with a heavy heart
