by a swedish person it was a community place for the scandinavians and it was still owned by even though swishing society of san francisco and the basement is operate continually as a restaurant and bar since 1907 operated through prosecution and recently is a live venue the reminder of the ground floor beautiful events and swishing concerts and lurks and ban gets over the last hundred plus years we take over the building showed it age and we embarked on a an ambitious project to visit all four floors i'm happy to report that two years ago we took a ride on the

compliant elevator and happy swedes we stopped at all floors it has 88 restrooms we are hoping happy to get the upgrades for the swedish and those didn't come for free we had to maintain the necessary revenues we partnered with extremely reputable you raurnts and the cafe we focused on a free spontaneous performances on a sound like stage we are in the final stages with the local promoter to move the ticketed events into the restored ballroom and the room was built one hundred years ago there are

many issues so we went to great lengths to make sure it doesn't interfere with the community we will share a wall and had a sound like test done so as far as the noise levels we know i have a copy for review are the outreach for this project was considerable we reached out and contacted residents and eureka valley neighborhood association and the san francisco police department and the merchants association supervisor wiener and his office the acholic beverage commission and san francisco planning department and the tranquil neighborhood association and worked closely with the triangle neighborhood association and were able to get the facade of the building as this is something at their
