hour. aiden. >> how old is he? >> aiden just turned 6. >> he's building a farm with his family. how was the parade, you guys? >> great. >> he managed not to fall out of the cable car. >> we have one question for you, 3 and 5 years, brian, i know everyone is sweet in its own way, what does it mean to you in ? >> i didn't know what to expect with the weather but the fans make all the difference. it's great to the organization. it's really a great day for the city and we are really proud that it came to this and we have another chance. >> he did not leave me
2:15 pm
2:16 pm
anything in the world. i don't care if there is a blizzard outside. >> what does it mean to you for this organization, beyond that? >> if you look at the giants history, there is a lot that has come through this franchise. when you think of my "the godfather" willie, there is no place like it in the world. the tradition here is so amazing. we don't have fair weather fans. they seem to come no matter what. when i was coming to the park and seeing this is absolutely incredible. when i look at that ballpark
2:17 pm
2:18 pm
2:19 pm
winning another world series? >> it's exciting. it's one of those things if you don't know if it's going to happen again. we worked hard and we've been through a lot of ups and downs and especially with the support of the fans. i just caught the ball and it was wow! we made it. this is one of those times you want to have in that situation. >> i have one more question for you, i know you can't say much about what your future holds with the san francisco giants, but you have fans that adore you and want you back. how much does this organization mean to you? >> it means a lot. they have taught me a lot in my career. they opened the door and gave me the opportunity to be the big
2:20 pm
leaguer and being a champ three times. they teach me how to respect again and how to respect the fans. there is a lot that i have been through in the last 24 hours. i love the fans, i love my team. we have a great dynasty. it's going to be a great moment for me. i want to make sure to be here. like i said i took the picture today. my heart is orange. i'm just going to enjoy this parade. after that i will do my own things with my family. >> the ceremony is about to start. we are going to let you go with your orange heart. thank you so much. pablo sandoval. >> all right.
2:21 pm
amy, thanks very much. the interviews go out on this big screen here and when pablo shows up and when you were interviewing, the fans go crazy. they are getting anticipation of the ceremony and when they see it on the big screen, they get all jacked up. >> i thought when pablo came up they would say "five more years". they are getting pumped. it's kind of the anticipation building and they are waiting for these guys to go on stage and hearing him go out with the motivational speech. there used to be some gaps in the crowd, there are no gaps. they are getting pretty pumped right now. we both popped our collars. >> everyone is focusing on the stage because of the families and everyone. everybody is going on stage
2:22 pm
and they get distracted and they look at the stage on the big screen. a lot of people are getting ready. this is going to be pretty emotional when these guys speak. bumgarner is probably going to get one of the largest ovations than ever. >> 50 innings in the postseason. he gave up just one run in the world series. madison bumgarner will get up there to talk. he's going to talk. >> and he's got his own day. >> back home. >> madison bumgarner day in north carolina. they have produced some great athletes. but mad bum maybe the best
2:23 pm
one. >> that's how you build all the strength. it's not lifting weights and doing push-ups. it's working on a farm. i know a lot of guys go for spring training. they are not morning people. you try to interview them before you go out there, don't do that. except for madison bumgarner he gets up at 5 a.m..:00 a.m.. >> what makes it cool is his name. madison bumgarner and he's also from hickory, north carolina, and then he speaks very softly. he's not a big loud guy. you don't realize he's one of the fiercest competitors. >> he almost gets lost for words when
2:24 pm
people say how did you do this? it's almost that he struggles because it comes so natural to him. he's just so natural for madison bumgarner. >> speaking of madison bumgarner. he has his own underwear which amy may ask about it. >> i may ask about it. this is well worth the wait. you've been through this before. but, what is this time mean to you so accomplished in this season? >> they are all so special and they all mean a lot in different ways. this year i have to say it's up there. it's not my favorite, it's unbelievable. as a team we've worked so hard to get where we are now and i'm truly blessed and thankful for every chance
2:25 pm
we've got and every opportunity and to be here and you know, we have an unbelievable team and it's so much fun to be here and play with these guys and the fans are so awesome to play in front of. i'm truly blessed. >> buster said a neat thing. i asked him about the photographs of him just leaning into you, hugging you, a buster hug. he said he was done and he felt it was pretty appropriate to lean on you, that you are the guy they have been leaning on. >> that's the biggest compliment that you can have from a teammate because especially from him, he's the leader of the team and i'm thankful for just being a part of it. the fact that he said that, that means the world. >> a quick reaction. what's going on with this? these are underwear.
2:26 pm
2:27 pm
>> thanks so much. my first question is what do you think of this? >> i like to see him wear them. i don't know if he will, but i can see him using that in spring training as motivation training gimmick. >> the end of the championship world series but this is the biggest deal with under we're. a lot of people asking about this photo and you in the did dugout kissing the bat. was it you or the team luck? >> i wish i could say. but it was -- greg ory
2:28 pm
wanted me to kiss it. i didn't know it was going all over the world because i have had more people text me on that and asked if i have done that before. >> it's amazing you got away with it all season with social media the way it is. you are lucky. last one, this is your third time. i know everyone is special for you but what does this mean to you with this group of men that you coached? >> it's the feeling you have because you know how hard it is to do this and i think all the hard work has been put in by everyone, the ownership, the staff and the players. the players had not been here, the had you hud sons will get a ring
2:29 pm
and that makes it so special and i have talked about the parade so many times. you talk about winning in the ring, that's up there. it was raining, it didn't slow them down. it's really a special day. >> congratulations. three time world series championship manager. >> let's rest up and try to get ready for another one. >> all right. bruce bochy.
