years he's been the world language department head and sfusd mentor attentive hiss his other replenishment is vice president of the california association japanese language teachers and college board moderator and the japanese teacher board men and the japanese-american board member what's important is what happens in the classroom he uses a various streaming and curriculum with the students the one thing i appreciate he want his students to be lifelong japanese learns and involved in the community with our students and one of the highlight one the highlights is with our japanese

commissioner for her attendance this september at the school mr. hines was a pioneer about educating american students been asia i developed the imperials and the method for teaching about the region i'm very honored to be in this teaching profession and honored to have this opportunity to shire my knowledge and my love of my homeland with my students i want to thank ms. wall green and other teachers at george washington high school and any students for expressing their confidence in me thank you very

worts thing to find out there's something wrong with the child and the child will be out of school our family life is going to be disrupted the last thing you'll be thinking about is school then you realizing realize you have to have a normal life this is an outstanding teacher says this is what we're going to do so she goes ahead and is the teacher for the child and thinks outside the box we want teachers to do especially the principle but she presents the idea let's use face time with our ipad they develops a way the child is a participant in school and using the ipad to surface soots students in the school of you a little girl is

at school she sits at the deck 50 the ipad and when she goes through treatments at the hospital they see her through the ipad at no time z did ms. cooper say hearsay hard she says this is how we're going to do that because she were able to do that the first grade teacher was doing the exact same thing and ms. cooper thought outside the box we have a teacher going through chemo but through face the here treatment and getting better and reads to her class the one teacher didn't think about what should i do but this is what i'll do this is many cooper i'm happy to know and proud she's a teacher at france

scott keyes can i hug you (clapping.) hi, i'm megan the mom i needed to say a little bit of something the last time i was in the room was the sheer fear of dropping any lottery pick to any a duty explicit know where they're she was going to he said e end up france scott eco was chosen we got into a wonderful school they led us last year was the you know the most upsetting thing happened when olive was diagnosed there was not a day that went by olivia celebrated here today in kindergarten and

never missed a day through the aggressive treatment weekly treatments we remember in patient about 5 months and learned how to read one of the top reading she persevered and rose above and i kept a journal be there was this one that i wanted to read to everybody so oh, willful was taken out of the class after christmas break and didn't go back to the last day of school the doctor allowed her one hour in this hour adam and i stood there and olive got her diploma and i realized an extraordinary perseverance autopsying all of those things are possible those two girls shared those two traits they say

that education is the key to success and teachers make an impact i'll be a different mother involved in the education because of the experience with her, she never wavered one minute and stood by our daughter and i truly believe that challenges and life enexpels will be changed and we love you and o olive wanted to say this through lady bugs she wants to read to ms. cooper. >> thank you ladybug.
