san francisco is connected. so, we are making connections with other types of violence and other issues. i feel like the avalos resolution is really focused on institutionalized racism within the justice system and the police system and it's about a full systems change and cultural change. there are other issues out there also but i think that's the focus. so all be supportive of the supervisors avalos's original motion with appreciation for the amendments but i'll still be supportive. i think supervisors kim's suggestion to compromise by still mentioning alex -- is a good one and i be supportive of that if the original motion doesn't go forward in supervisor:'s moments are successful. to me the most important things are the result as others have said and putting this on record in support of the ferguson action. the ferguson action movement statements and the structural changes that are proposed in
