to prepare for those hearings give you a he heads up on february 9th the national alliance will be hosting a commissioner training in san francisco at the ferry building this is something the department set up with the generous funding from the historic preservation commission and from the venue and the amount of funding we were able to open up to all northern bay area commission so we hope to have a robust attendance and discussion about a variety of different commission matters and design review meaning policies and procedures and thank you for the hearing room it is a great hearing room where a view we'll

the consideration to remedy the landmark designation from the golf street as the goldberg building commission heard the item on november 19th we passed a resolution since this hearing they've communicated to prepare the landmark report the report was revised to show the building was eligible for the architecture expression through goldberg and the defining features were removed if the report and finally at the direction from commissioner matsuda is prepared list of owners and occupants to identify writers or musicians or another artists that live in the building as appendix a with the

report. >> another important change to the designation report defining the features i included those changes in a cover memo just to brief recap far for the paneled ceilings we were added as well as the rear tile exits and the hip roof skylight that illuminates the store entire on golf street for the commercial entry we added a paneled socket in the delay area and we opened the - the awning box above the store fronts and wood sashed windows and at least we specified the reasons with our goldberg building those changes were invading made to the

remembered one trip out west glen eagle that's jennifer's father he got a spanking i found that charmg i just want to thank you, again for your consideration of landmarking our building we've been proud to live there and as beverlyly so emotionally spoke of last night when beverlyly glen eagle did her research that was the only building left standing that had anything to do with they are grandfather and we know he kept it to pass it on to his grandchildren and carved his name into the side of the building and i hope you vote yes to laboring this building.
