are symbolic are important but our actions that we do in personal lives our political lives and building organizations and those movements is even more important. want to really appreciate supervisor's come in and read for sharing so much of themselves and giving input into this. i was a big part of this process from the beginning and i know that is a process that we all have to go forward in the future. it's an awkward decision because i'm hearing from growing movements and learn every day by being active in them we are to follow the lead of young people with her was on saturday with the millions much more with other actions or follow read of african-americans but i'm still going to be supportive of the original motion supervisor autos has brought in a really appreciate the comments and the insights and the wisdom that have spoken from the community.

ideal following the lead of african-americans is really really important to me but i do feel that supervisor comments suggestions have logic behind them, my political sense is it's watering down and it's taking away the real heart of the alex -- movement and how san francisco is connected. so, we are making connections with other types of violence and other issues. i feel like the avalos resolution is really focused on institutionalized racism within the justice system and the police system and it's about a full systems change and cultural change. there are other issues out there also but i think that's the focus. so all be supportive of the supervisors avalos's original motion with appreciation for the amendments but i'll still be supportive. i

think supervisors kim's suggestion to compromise by still mentioning alex -- is a good one and i be supportive of that if the original motion doesn't go forward in supervisor:'s moments are successful. to me the most important things are the result as others have said and putting this on record in support of the ferguson action. the ferguson action movement statements and the structural changes that are proposed in them to me are the most important things. i know that the heart that went into the drafting of this from germany and pollock two supervisor although wilson's office, and the community efforts to get the language the strong as possible is something him and said supportive >> supervisor autos >> thing. i like to start moving on voting for amendments and probably will have some process questions. i have an amendment as a whole. i believe that supervisor: amendments are religious amendment of the hole that i have here today. so, i
