colleagues over there at the puc all promised that we'd do this again and it's coming up on the year anniversary so it probably is timely. what do folks think? okay that was a fun one and also on that note i talked to two of the planning commissioners who would be very much in favor of having a joint meeting and the catalyst was our great work together around mandatory solar at the staff level and filtered up to the to the commission and i think it it can be another joint meeting. >> i think that's an outstanding idea i'm very excited about the joint puc opportunity to talk about this. with planning they are doing a very interesting thing. they have hired a consultant to do a scan for the city they

interviewed me and department heads across the city and it would be very interesting. i haven't heard the findings yet because they haven't presented them but they are very cognizant about the fact we exist and are trying to figure out what is planning value on sustainability so it's an incredibly good idea to have a joint meeting, yeah. >> commissioner stephenson. >> i don't know if this could be tagged on but one of the things we were talking about as we were walking out last week when you look around you see all the buildings happening in san francisco can we get some sort of report on what's happening with all of these buildings? like how much of a difference are we making because of the policies we have here at the city of san francisco compared to if all of those buildings were going up

some place else. >> that's a good idea. i tend to think of our own meeting that followed that there might be ways to build out some of that it's a great idea. >> along those lines i want to really start diving how we're going to get into these multifamily units and planning unit developments how we're going to integrate the electric charger for electric vehicles for these folks. it can't just be for people with 8 hundred hundred thousand dollars homes or people that bought in 1980 it's not fair and the other thing is i want to take a serious look at at the whole reusable field -- turf and grass -- i know she took a look at it i want to
