and electron devices and things to be part of the file somebody submitted to the clerk and will be on the march 10 board of supervisors' agenda unless otherwise stated. >> thank you. to all of the people waiting i want to apologize for the late start and i had an air district meeting and i want to thank you for your patience and my colleagues' patient as well because they were waiting on me. we have called the first item and this is appointment to the child care planning and advisory council, and -- did you call it? >> no. >> let's call the first item. thank you. >> item 1 is a hearing consider appointing one member term ending september 14, 2017 to the child care planning and advisory council. there is one seat and one applicant. >> thank you madam clerk see we have one seat, one applicant and for district 11 which happens to be my district and i would like to call up claudia quinonez to is the applicant

for the seat. welcome. >> hi. good morning everybody and i appreciate for having me here today. as you said my name is claudia quinonez and i am hoping in my two minutes i am able to reflect my interest in cpac and what i can accomplish in my term. i have attended previous meetings. due to my work i am a child resources manager and oversee a program that is working daily with families in need of child care and i started attending these meetings because it's related to my work. however when i was sitting there i thought wow all of this information -- first there is the very knowledgeable group that is there and so important and how is it being transferd and how are we letting parents know about the decisions being made? and i started thinking about how myself as a

mother -- how this is so important in all of the conversations happening in the meetings at cpac so that definitely brought more interest to me. i am a mother of two beautiful boys. i have -- my six year old is part of the school district in emently and my youngest is going to a co-op in a private preschool i have dealt with the challenges and the successes with child care and i have been a big advocate for my children. i have a child that went through the process and transitioning to a different program with the school district and i have gone throughout navigation of the system and it's a challenge and being that i know -- i
