is back to the 60s he'll get me for that david smith and others i 207d be here i'm enjoying this jane kim there are a lot of thanks i understand that hopefully, you know i'm working hard to shared prosperity agenda trying to take advantage of this prosperity that we're enjoying i tried to spraet spread it to as many people as possible a reason specific reason i'm here to celebrate health 360 establishment of a new home not only for them but the historic entities that they've been able to lift up for so many years i know that wendy is here and jeff and people from our street

violence energetic program and a lot of health care professionals here if ucsf and donor and kaiser permanente our own pigmented department that is here as well as as well as we're celebrating this even in the life of all at department in the city and particularly this our surrounding location there is going to be anchor of health clarifying of services that reflect the hate ashbury free clinic and walling done house and the african-american recovery services the women's initiate that which is in recovery the association as well as the history of entities health organizations and health services that are incorporated into the health health 360 what i've been saying to a lot

of nonprofits throughout the city yes fear with raising real estate prices you might be challenged in so many ways but there's also the ability to take that and say let's be a part of that development let's find ways to sustain ourselves in years to medical cannabis if we find time with the right partnerships and challenge ourselves so with that come glam conglomerate rationed to come fwl a single roof to say a brand new cubic building that could be part of their home forever is the best way to go forward i want to say we're going to audio value to this area health 360 will not be alone in their effort to support

nonprofits supervisor kim is trying to do that through planning code and mitigation and trying to get developers to pay attention to this and we're going to do that when we face things lying like the central selma plan we can develop quicken correctly by incorporating the entities into the areas we're developing right up the street a number of city agencies that eventually will be housed into a government building in the goodwill building in a few years to come what i say by contribution we are going to looking at the city owned buildings like mission street why not say early we're going to he is talking about dedicate one to nonprofits as port of your development

strategy (clapping) i'm saying that early my staff is not figured out the economics but part of the economic is part of the our values we can't be successful until we have bask values that support what is valuable to us and community-based nonprofit are also a part of the way we deliver services in the city i'm saying that early i want to sigh not only a great welcome to health 360 we're also going to try to build a eco system that enlightenments what you're doing here today it is important to recognize when this is and a few blocks up a new navigation center for the oldest population to apply the services and navigate with we're doing were a

health department and law enforcement divisions we want a navigation system that works for the homeless and transitioned that into permanent how's just a few belongs up doing creative things it takes a creativeness of a health 360 that causes all things to happen a i was scombroek i'm glad this is not another motorcycle repair shop we're going to do a lot of human repairs in the building this is my way of saying thank you to all the entities that have contributed thought board of trustees to the funders to kaiser permanente and the donors that are making all this stuff happens i know the board of

trustees works hard to pay denver witness and others to build here i want to make sure i find time to get up to the fifth floor it is existing for the city we're focused with the additional revenue that the city has luckily golden offender or over the years we are going to poured that back into where people need it health care and housing and ending chronic homelessness for you're our veterans and the mental health reform program like our dr. i's even has worked us in the task force to start a respite center we're taking and making that toward find of our eco system

and the drug-induced practices we can change you'll that i want to say thank you to health 360 you're a fiscal support for our intervention program and wendy and dei can't think and on that depends on good health care but how do you get people away from violence for that for health right to be the sponsor that's an credible part of the story thank you for i think the picture you know of the health care is at the center of anyone's recovery we have to take it further with housing and so glad or glad that health 360 is here congratulations let's get those contractors working

(clapping) please welcome to the podium the san francisco supervisor of district 6 in which we're located the honorable supervisor mike wasserman (clapping.) it thank you. is really, really exciting to be at the location as the mayor and i welcome the new jobs it's great to welcome new homes and updated modernized homes for the vulnerable folks for the health clinic and center televise great we're able to welcome health 360 to the community as well with their updated and modernized home ours residents deserve the level of

health care as we on the new clinic we want our health clinics here historically policymakers streetd poverty as an economic issue we look forward the jobs and poverty here in this industry ccii and city but through so much of our work thas has been highlighted by the workers and the health care it is as important as a issue as housing and jobs we can't make our population healthy without access to proper health care not having enough money is the issue but it means not enough access he is to the health care and not been able to provide the jobs if people are not physically and mentally ill

healthy thank you to our nonprofit you're such an important piece and partner with the hospitals to make sure we deliver the services to our population that are coming out of incarceration that are coming out of homelessness or continue it live on the streets those that are low income i've had the opportunity to knock on doors in 2010 and 2014 i happen upon hoousht residents on treasure island when i was there i would ask what was living experience like for you and it was nothing but the most positive comments not only am i getting the counseling and support i have a community of folks that understand my experience i get it live with and in building

friendships that's part of my health and well-being on the other side we've had this vacant building here for a long, long time i actually used to live across the block this is an ice sore and on top of that this will be qualified cord as part of south of market a benefit to everyone that lives here so congratulations i want to thank the board i know this is a full-time volunteer job along where the staff if makes that happen i know that barry's and others work in participating to make sure you're the 360 for our recipe we talk about that in the world i'm in it is often said you have to go to prison to get

healthier and in counseling and you should be able to do that without sending someone probation officer to prison so 360 hesitate expanded 2 thousand to 7 thousand people it didn't so you would a lot but each individual story this is a an incredible boosters to the city to good job to everyone involved thank you. all the brown's board members past and present that are involved put your hands up i want to acknowledge you yeah. please (clapping.) nonprofits board represents the charity within organizations and you have responsible foreign the policy and did finance and will newer in your springs of an incredible leader beverly i want to acknowledge her (clapping.) they charge 360 is part of our public health department ems we're opening within the year a new san francisco general hospital and part that the roll is health 360 the clients that it helping the folks i want to recognize in the last couple of

decades substance abuse and health have been city government in his people have fought for the substance abuse and mental health as being recognized as a component of this deceased and thank you to dr. smith (clapping) our work is not done and the affordable health care provides us an opportunity it u opportunity to make sure we have an integrated model and 360 and thank you for your work today (clapping) >> thank you so much barbara garcia please welcome the representative from kaiser permanente director of public

affairs randy wikt ordinary person (clapping.) >> it was a pleasure to be here i'm randy the director of affairs with kaiser permanente we're excited to be part of the project i'm excited to see so much o so many people turning out this is kind of kind of like a reunion when we come together in community health so kaiser permanente has been in the san francisco bay area so for 70 years from the beginning part of our mission as well as taking care of the people that choose kaiser permanente for their health care but to improve the health of the community we serve this provides me an

interpretation opportunity to meet the people in the community that are dedicated to improving people's live when we come to a community wire helping to improve that broader community you look around the city and see the construction cranes and hear about the changes in the city all are having a positive impact on the community 1922 important we make sure that nobody is left behind that's why on december 17th our ceo bernard 81 son along with mayor ed lee and kaiser permanente contribution have a half a a million dollars to support the construction of this clinic (clapping.) thank you as part of our community benefit program we work with the other hospitals in the city and

closely with the department of public health which is one of the best public health departments in the country we're fortunate to have dph and do a needs assessment through that assessment different health indicators are identified two are access to the high quality serviced and insuring the healthy and safe living environment so i want to acknowledge health 360 because their deliver on both of the things through the work they do and take in glide land martin and hate ashbury resident into the program and provides stability for the programs that's important to the thousands of people that go to those facilities fy for their

care and supervisor kim's acknowledged and barbara garcia said the number of people that come to the clinic and the capacity we provide some of the things providing a welcoming intact center in the baby boomer lobby a general clinic a if he 120kd pharmacies and employment referral and accessible opportunity including computer literacy so this facility is going to have the capability of changing people lives i want to thank you hospitalizing and the fantastic health department and supervisor kim and just we very much looked forward to this facility opening its doors it is a really good examine how when

all of us come together all of us in the room from different occupations we we all come together we can make sure that people thrive i had to make sure i got that in thank you very much (clapping.) amendment no, no the university you get do do this a lot you have new buildings this is a once in a lifetime i want to thank you and the mayor's office mayor ed lee and director barbara garcia and sf entertainment commission and kaiser permanente is a tremendous support a our construction folks it is an amazing group of folks that coyote with support for the project you all are visionaries you vision what that project looks like and means 18 months from now this industrial building will have primary care clinic a dental care clinic. >> thank you for the generous

donors and treatment and . >> 34g9 services and our services wrap around services it is housing and job skills and being able to use the computer and our intact center we'll access client needs and - (laughter) i don't have issues. (laughter) i got my back if you watch me they've got my back so you know you may not know that but we house and treat 5 hundred people every night in a transitional housing to assess

that will be here this is really been our dream and vision so whatever specific services brings the client in the door they get the services if a compassionate compassionate comprehensive way to help people get better and do better and be better that's on the building you'll see when you go upstairs i lock up and down this street and around this neighborhood and see the life and growth and vital and techs and new businesses and people tapping away on their smart phones and building new housing and office building and here we'll be in the middle of that a brilliant move that san francisco welcomes it's new

business partners and slobts because business is good for the city san francisco will not for stake i sake its need it and create the opportunity for those who have so little (clapping.) now i believe this is true remember i still have to raise $15 million to make it real this is not a fundraiser i hope you understand the importance of this work of the vital to san francisco it's testament of its legacy this san francisco welcomes all (clapping.) >> all righty let's travel we'll be taking the stairs for those of who you who are ready
