atmosphere and neighborhoods need not be used to living in so they can see another part of the community welcoming them so, so it's been so wonderful so wonderful for our young people that everyone comes together and the roll we play to make sure we have a place for this as it is an example of a public-private nonprofit partnership that happens and northern california enlist and the city loosening group city and all of this is doing their best and surrounding facts and circumstances thank you four chaernl our services to make that a welcome place i'm

you, again. and michael and all the residents here i love it when leader pelosi visits everyone a leader comes in we have to show case something he will she needs more and more example and this in particular is a heartwarming one we know the challenges of the youth that out of home care and when a lot of things are happening in their lives they they need a city that helps them so at the fourth what they can do they need a support system we know we're in a housing crisis not just 90 the city the entire region and the income and equality is real

and yet in the middle of this constitutional rights what i find to be so xhovb we have the leadership to get to done and help more people i know i've learned to all the speakers of leader nancy pelosi said we say to do more for our people in the housing crisis we found partners and the agencies and there are more and more and also educating our pun it is not just their concrete and brick we can find concrete anywhere that is the financial and the services and the people that care about the youth to really create a spates that's welcoming and supportive if i told cherlyn and gail when i came in here before it opened

i imagined some famous chief is here teaching our kids how to cook hewitt but there's other things that are going to happen positive open this site up i want to give more credit so supervisor farrell i know he's on to the bushlt so we can fought especially more but i'm willing to accept the fact that his father is here thank you, mr. farrell for your leadership (clapping) and i'll say that even in constitutional rights even when we're challenged with land use and the cost of the housing we can build 24 additional unit and complete the 4 hundred unit we said a few years ago was over 60

percent on the way more sites that are being public health p put together and doing to smartly not just building the unit but getting the best diligence from cherlyn and gail who helps to provide us with the diligence to make sure that you get in between 48 to 24 most get people confident enough to get out and get the jobs jobs and the train and going ghetto on to the definition this is to allow you to become independent it be successful and be the mayor's and the congressman but we need the enter strength to be nurtured 1972 where it is going to happy i want to take this

transformation steroids we all hear and i think that one of the things dangers of the steroids is to sound like those are simple they're not affordable housing 2.0 and we hear stories about 0 other things there's nothing harder in the world dave talked about that nothing hardly than a project that takes lots of funding federal funding a city and thanks to mayor ed lee that would be nice to have a governor that supports affordable housing but more than anything else is takes organizations like this it takes an organization that sweats blood for a project and do the financing and the seat and project manager your property alone is a huge humane deal i
