has not finalized the paperwork yet this is a significant increase in the use of program with 10 productions getting the rebates compared to the lovingly productions that received rebeats in the first seven years of the program in fiscal year 2013-2014 the 7 productions at the moment $831,000 plus spent a total of $4 million plus locally this included the salaries a local crews and background extras and expenditures on gas hotels, car rentals and office supplies and lumber and carter and more in fiscal year 2013-2014 for every dollar

rebeat $6 and one cent was spent locally fiscal year 2014-2015 is on track to be as productive as 2013-2014 while the number of production is less the number of job is on par with the previous fiscal year so far in 2014-2015 the current local spend is $4 million plus sorry $4 million plus with the rae daets beats avenue $7 million for this fiscal year year every dollar $6.29 is spent locally for was this and other expenses this program is a key component to attracting high profile productions to the city we'll

decision to film here san francisco was not only our backdrop a character in the show we had a wonderful experience and urge the board of supervisors to extend the program for another 4 years i want to add a comment my location budget didn't include the money on union and non-union wages those rebate programs are the way that films are made those days and television the money you put in helps to support middle-income middle-income union and non-union that are activity participants in the greater san francisco bay area people like me we pay our property tax our kids go to school and we
