prior 0 law and make tweaks that make a difference for the workers in the city the first amendment to target the large establishment it part of that legislation israel our large and middle establishment are not the same scale many mid sized businesses don't have the same resources and wouldn't be equally able to apply with the law and the bargaining agreement language to make sure that the contractors are included as well and the third is a grace period after the effective date of the ordinance and for the warning to an employer so no monetary penalties are done and the next amendment provides direction to the employees 80 how to notify

their employees within a 72 hour that plan to accept the offers and this last amendment closes a loophole for the employees to schedule to work with predictability pay from the shift is motorist with less than a 7 day notice it strikes the policy and provides this law to be implemented correctly i'm encouraged we worked with a consensus package i look forward to the discussion about here and the board and have in committee both today the substance issues have to set before us we'll be back next week and thank you, everyone for especially supervisor mar that worked hard with me in my office in particular and i'm going to turn it over to supervisor mar.

experience in human resources with an emphasisless of payroll i've overseen those matters we're here to support the goals of the ordinance and try to do their best to comply as best we can under the circumstances however, we reemphasis our need for an exception from the predictability requirements of ordinance cinco de mayo mark presented our business model to the board of supervisors they were different from the retail employees employers we don't control our pursuits we don't know which films will be shown and the number of employees is based on how many people attend our films no way to present the staffing level schedule are posted 3 days before the start
