oftentimes sick and the doorbell ringing and the ah coming for a ride long and someone from the bureau having another rig it going on and on all day and late into the evening the workload is crushing the captain and the common theme you need additional personnel there you need additional personnel to manage that growing workforce and right now, we're leveraging rc-4 going back into the field we'll not do that without our way with the shift we told the board of sups and the mayor we need critical supervision we have some of the sickest people and a traffic
2:01 am
issues with stabbing and putting the captain back out into the field so we'll wait until we see what happens with station 49 let's get that patient care better and improve that secter of the city and talk about the shift we have 6 promotional jobs being held up people are studied and in is being held up but we want to hold our breath and if i can surplus ensue having worked go there the beginning and watching it grow and go sideways and so this is where i get silly it feels like lucy awe ball shoveling chocolates down her throughout trying to keep up with capacity you feel like that
2:02 am
at station 49 you can't keep up with the assembly line and not keep up with the chocolates going by on the assembly line thank you. next item, please. >> any more speakers for this item? okay not seeing any, public comment is closed. and commissioner vice president cleaveland >> thank you, ma'am thank you madam president and thank you, chief gonzales for our report and chief meyers for your report i appreciate the people that spoke on that matter it is an important issue that needs to get resolves i think as all of the commissioners seize this is a stuvenlg block to more fiscal process for the emergency medical teams and you know if we got to get it solved we as
2:03 am
commissioners are concerned hanging out there and nothing has been resolved to date i'm not sure what the negotiations of the contract can get reopened but obviously something we like all the parties to sit down in good faith and resolve i have a couple of questions one what the the cost rc-4 if we added that person to the station 49 staffing. >> what would be the cost of that person. >> the cost of. >> adding you know. >> 3.5. >> phil the rc-4 position. >> mr. corso again. >> our numbers guy again. >> i also wanted to not any cost variance if we go to a 12-hour shift at station 49 is there a cost variance is that or
2:04 am
is it savings or you know go cost more. >> so first question is rc-4. >> rescue captain. >> good morning mr. corso i don't remembered off the top of my head but funded for the rescue captain that was approximately within $.2 million to staff we have requested 6 which i believe was one .8 and funded for 4 personnel so. >> we're talking about $600,000 to add an additional rescue captain. >> it wouldn't be an additional twenty-four hour position so we requested it. 6 towo on duty during the day and within on night in a 12-hour capacity not adding an
2:05 am
additional twenty-four hour >> so what's the common practice out there in other fire departments across the country do they staff the personnel at for emergency medical services from the supervisory personnel on a deft shift rather than the rank and file ems e emts and we're doing twenty-four hours for the supervisor personnel emt services and the rank and file are working 12 housing is a customary in other departments across the country. >> it depends on the business model of the organization i mean, i, truly the private sector some operate on a twenty-four hour basis but others work on to 48 hours 72 hours and how much downtime on
2:06 am
that particular twenty-four hour shift for rest how does la do. >> i have information on local and it kind of thing the example m r run a 48 hours shift and average two to three hours of sleep and every third week they do 72 hours in a row i know that king america apples and oranges i mean did number 6 personnel and the units they displace evidence is much smaller they work 48 hours shifts and sleep 8 hours a night it is at a later date to the business practice from the system as a whole. >> well sense most of them 70 percent of new in any are medical emergencies that is
2:07 am
probably the biggest service and people work as paramedics and emts work very hard to serve the city and the citizens very well we have to find some kind of model that works for everybody have you have one existing model of twenty-four hour when the officers like is that the most effective model we obviously have a difference of opinion here but i mean, we want to have a department or certainly an emergency medical service division managed fiscally and efficiently as possible not have the station vandalize and narcotics disappear we want to have the perfect program and the service that manages as well as possible we've got to resolve
2:08 am
that yes, ma'am pass continue you know the officers union and the department so, i mean we as commissioners we have no power to do anything but air the issues to be push the parties together to come up with a compromise that can work and that's really all i have to say. >> commissioner vice president cleaveland. >> commissioner nakajo. >> thank you madam president and thank you, chief meyers and chief goes on for your report and members of the public that gave comment complex issue hard to understand i understand perfectly the presentation by the administration or in terms of yourself as the expandable in terms of the identifiable issues
2:09 am
that have been presented with a quote/unquote twenty-four hour shift and all the issues of concern the term of failing through the cracks, if you will, i also wanted to know when in supervision of with twenty-four hours for had mentioned in 2010 was talked about; right? captains twenty-four hours. >> i don't have the exact date but the twenty-four hour basis started with the h lieutenants down to station 49 the beginning. >> 2007 i'm being told. >> 2007 to get the program started in 2006. >> that's correct that is when the level two's were in the department at initially as a 12
2:10 am
and move forward to 24 in 2007. >> that's the question i want to ask being here for a period of time i rocket to fool this in terms of stooiks and the old evolution of paramedics and the whole decision what was the reason that we've moved from a twenty-four hour lieutenant sprifrl mist to 3 rescue captains how did that move up and at change occur. >> i'll have to defer to someone in the administration i was not here at the time quite frankly. >> sure high recollection was that moving to a twenty-four hour shift we had smaller workforce and anymore appreciated by the membership a twenty-four hour shift a obviously the 99 percent of any
2:11 am
department much more preferable than working a 12-hour day that was something that we agreed to do and it was in my mind sort of a band-aid solution now the clank you have so many shifts difference the firehouse the firehouse a 8 o'clock roll call and everyone on the floor and they get they're voting duties for twenty-four hour a day at stabilization a series of many mini roll call, if you will, depending on when the shifts start that is happening over and over and over and over again. >> i recollect we see the plastic bags services from the durability at one point we tried to house our paramedics the
2:12 am
firehouses we tried that for a period of time there were issues that came about that end result on the line of the paramedics were removed from the firehouse they were out there i remember we created station 49 i remember we created a supervisorial model and 3 lieutenants in charge i recollect the 12 hour shift i thought that i thought it best reflected what we tried it have with the limited poll and at that time the number was that 6 compared to the numbers now i recall it was shifted to twenty-four hour supervisorial shift and in ways i'll paraphrase the administration at the time was created with the recommendation to move to a twenty-four hour shift so i can
2:13 am
understand that from the justification of all the recording is the number of personnel we have with the ambulances coming into station 49 i can understand clearly the problems of a 24 shift and the twenty-four hour shift and dialogue i know that the suppression members are used to a twenty-four hour shift but in that model station 49 was various shifts the question i ask from the paramedics and the emts come into to start they're voting shift or get off their she thought that the supervisor is there to meet and greet and check them off and go to the dialogue i thought to myself that would be a very strenuous responsibility the question when do they sleep or are they on all
2:14 am
the time and the points of view sleep or not sleep trying to supervisor the whole units and again, i think you did a great job the responsibility of what a supervisor is my question the twenty-four hour shift with the various shifts come in indeed does the supervisor meet all the employees and a check and getting the narcotics from the individual that's the kind of information i want at some point based upon your description it is strenuous and the modeled might be outdated with a two years shift versus the employees with come in i hear clerical commissioner vice president cleaveland said about the accountability of the workforce
2:15 am
when members come in are they greeted checked off or let the supervisors know that the problems, etc. so to me in terms of i'm not saying the supervisors don't have that responsibility in the sense they take they're voting job seriously but is it humanly possible for someone as dedicated as they are to be there twenty-four hours as those members come in into the level i feel a great responsibility whether they are greeted or checked off and met with again, when it comes to the reasons asked about the twenty-four hour shift i think i hear if a a in a 12-hour shift two individuals compared to one over a twenty-four hour period twenty-four hour shifts that
2:16 am
remind me of issues of a stronger accountability of issues those are the kinds of things i'm trying to make sense of and trying to understand again, you have the accountability to the members that are out they're doing the services and again responsible to the rescue captains it's not an easy thing to understand we talk about the bond with the station 49 and about i know that commissioner vice president cleaveland was instrumental negative impact trying to establish is it or myself personally to have a vision for a 12-hour shift a link process without the dispute so whether they came back into station 49 i would think that supervision would be key to the rupture so that we can have continuity so again, i'm i want
2:17 am
to put that out there those and he wants i have a problem with clarity in terms of your report advocating for a 12-hour shift over twenty-four hours but again, some of the members of the public talking about the pros and cons of the twenty-four hour shift still skernldz about the kind of strain within the other i hear there is a recommendation of more personnel and the supervisor level he hear that but again, i'm trying to go find out as commissioner vice president cleaveland what is the best model of accountability we can have because with the workforce i think they want to have that reimbursement chief gonzales. >> commissioner nakajo respectfully we ask for 6 we have the funding for the rc-4s we said them on twenty-four hour shifts we thought the twenty-four hour shifts will be
2:18 am
connected and one overlap we thought we'd get the best he workload i'm not questioning the officers they're voting diagnose they're voting best but like i said, the task they're voting given there are things failing through the cracks i've told that that is his responsibility to make sure those things don't fall through the cracks he has a hard time enclosing he is holding back tasks that not getting done i visited there a few weeks ago 1 o'clock p.m. the rc-4 was in a state of achieveti exhaustion i - we ask for the 6
2:19 am
we're advocating for the 6 in a twenty-four hour period we can get anymore production out of two people on two 12 shifts than within on a twenty-four hour shift it is basic. >> it's a little bit my name is there are issues of membership that are part of this as they really in one of my previous questions what is your opinion you're looking for a supervisor or this model of twenty-four hour working or all i know is that there will be a new station stabilization if we can be successful with the personnel with the division it certainly has grown
2:20 am
we're all on the same page in terms of improving the system but it is frustrating to sit here and listen to pros and cons of why we can't say be stuck between a rock and a hard place so we will sit with a twenty-four hour shift or some administrative decision to be made within that because of non-support of the rescue captains association are we sitting here in limbo lands i want to know what the next process is or we'll be visiting that time and time again can i have comment. >> certainly we have continued to engage the bargaining units on the importance of a bargaining model that is a schedule that mirrors people i know we have a comment but i'd
2:21 am
like this staff to address some of the things you're asking about i'm being told when members who work 12 hours are coming out at two or three or 4 they don't have the interaction with the supervisors they deserve that that is one of the biggest things when you end you are shift at 4 in the afternoon or four in the morning you should have the same level of support to check off with narcotics yes, we can improve with the utopia and all kinds of money squeal have more supervision or supervision i hear about technology and machines in hospital that's a good idea can what we do something with a bar code i say yes and no no human supervisor interaction could be even equal
2:22 am
to a machine someone coming in at 4 in other morning they find out the narcotics away we don't want to encourage that where there is less interaction human interaction we can have a machine do a lot of things but the model we have during the day should be the same model during the late night that's what we're saying we'll continue to break through that i know that deputy chief operations has gone a good job i know commissioner vice president cleaveland you asked that placed on the agenda not a difficult issue to talk about but difficult in general what i'm looking for is direction like i said i feel moving forward to continue something that works when it was 1/3rd in terms of the operation
2:23 am
is not efficient it is unsafe and i'm irresponsible if i perpetuate that and not only from my paramedics i've talked with them not to the rescue captain twenty-four hour shift a coveted shift that is a third rally have a department to run we need to keep over members and public safe this is an issue i'd like to get more direction as question move forward we wanted to continue to be the best department this is an area absent the golden parachute of funning we need the dollars we've been provided. >> thank you, again chief joanne hayes-white so i'm clear chief gonzales i know the budgetary asked for of
2:24 am
additional folks in that formula; is that correct. >> that's right. >> we were denied that. >> correct. >> so therefore no alternative but to come up with another model to address those issues that's the way i look at it. >> that's correct. >> it's troubling to started this meeting with a report on ems 6 but we know that is tied into 9-1-1 and over workforce and tied into the supervisors as well it's difficult to hear all these issues in our delivery of service coming out our own time tropt the public, making sure the vehicles are operating those are all responsibilities and also, we can't talk about a model like an ems 6 judgment if we can't be responsible for basic issues the drugs are missing or vehicles are not
2:25 am
properly stored i think we've come a long way when we start and again for the recognition of history when we inherited this service from the huthd we if have support it created it service with the fire department so therefore we request the budgetary for vehicles and put the press about the shortage of our response time i want to make sure we're responsible and account so big if there is any directive chief joanne hayes-white and members of the department we'll have to resolve this issue and make sure our public is out there getting the best services they can thank you very much at this time chief gonzales. >> thank you, commissioner. >> thank you commissioner nakajo and commissioner hardeman you. >> thank you madam president
2:26 am
thanks for reporting and each and every speaker knows what they're talking about every each and every person is a leader in the fire department our commissioner vice president cleaveland should say this came down i was concerned be it would come forward but the commission would have nothing to act on because of the nature of the new york city noshgs /* noshgsz negotiations and i'm sure the chief will say the money will endorse that i'd like to see that happy i'm sure every commissioner and officer would outside of that i'll give you the comment that i hope
2:27 am
something will come back at some point the commission didn't have to approve that staff and all the labor organizations and leadership i've been through this before in issuing contracts that as very, very complex situation not easy everyone is saying what we think is right. i commend everybody and doing the terrific reports and good argument so thank you. >> thank you, commissioner i'll continue to sit down with the president to make recommendations to the chief if we can come up with something that will resolution to this issue. >> okay. thank you everyone i have many, many questions regarding this topic however, the hour is late this
2:28 am
meeting ends at noon and for the are purposes of transparency and keeping our fellow citizens of san francisco apprised of what is going on we need to get to the chiefs report before we run out of times one suggestion i will make in terms of finding the direction to do an actual survey the members of stooiks regarding this issue we need input from every single person they should have the opportunity to express in their opinion and desires regarding this so with we have numbers to move to twenty-four hour or 12 hours with the captain. >> and it should be all
2:29 am
inclusive of everyone at 49 thank you all i'm sure that will be on the agendas fairly soon. >> thank you madam president. >> thank you. >> all right. >> madam secretary can you please call the next item. >> >> item 7 the chief the departments report. >> thank you on current issues activities and events within the department since the fire commission february 2016 including fiscal year 2016-2017 budget and staffing changes strategic planning, one hundred 50 anniversary including the contest and special fence and outreach to other agencies and the public and report if operations including greater alarms and working for medical

2:39 am
allotted to ask folks they're voting sexual orientation this agency an outside mooted policy i believe that is important to have angle idea of your department and in those terms and so to speak with supervisor wiener and also spoken with assembly member chiu about the legislation that was as i understand by the governor allowing the folks to dloef that voluntarily currently nothing we can do locally but like to see it come to fruition in conclusion i'm excited about this division and enjoy immensely meeting the recruits and helping them navigate the some system is rewarding i'm
2:40 am

2:42 am
>> in terms of that survey with the lgbtq members of the department is that something you can do working with the chief to get this out i've been obviously this the volunteer o i didn't so you'll have a better ideas of lgbt population. >> that wear willing to report. >> don't believe you've been permitted to ask commissioner vice president cleaveland i think that i'm prevented by asking so i don't know that is possible but i'm working towards getting that permission and like i say i'm working with supervisor wiener's office he has a measure or some legislation coming forth that is related to seniors and asking
2:43 am
some of them or that population some of the seam questions he was talking about piggybacking on this but we move forward with that there are discussions with the city attorney's office and to some degree those conversations are stalled but i've recently met with like i said supervisor wiener and he stated there still working on it at this time i can't ask anyone but interested in doing so. >> i agree the policy is outdated thank you. >> chief joanne. >> if i can add i know that sxheld is talking an issue but commissioner forgo the human rights commission teresa sparks i believe westbound of the other things that keep once he gets settled and off to a good start
2:44 am
we've talked about keith reaching out to teresa perhaps a survey by the human rights commission because keith is going absolutely right for the h.r. and city attorney's office it is not a survey that we are allowed to do at this time but throughout the human rights commission in conjunction with our department anticipate sheriff's department and police departments have dlaertd to do that. >> i met about teresa sparks with the director of h.r. she couldn't do it we're trying to seek other avenues we had the opportunity to meet okay. thank you. >> commissioner excuse me. commissioner vice president cleaveland. >> commissioner hardeman. >> madam president i wanted to welcome you i wanted to offer to you apply resources to the asian pacific islanders community i'll

and alert sf and dpw will work together to go refine the guidelines for informing the public about the enters in a shelter in place or an excavations order and where to go and how to prepare for those incidents and you know obviously better coming if multiple agencies sending the same message and acknowledge station 48 and over baxter treasure island provided a barbecue and assist for over 3 hours with shipshape during the black history month all members were present and assisted and the origin request that was to provide firefighting materials so they went above and beyond
2:53 am
the call of duty to make treasure island feel that the sfpd we are community partners and want to work together that concludes my report >> thank you chief joanne hayes-white just a couple of for the purpose questions can you announce how much money has been of donateed to the one and having celebration. >> we've raised approximately $450,000 to put on all the fence so very proud to report we have very good public partners and very supportive of our events we hope to raise more than that that's what i'm confident we've raised. >> very good congratulations a great effort was made and they have been great results so i

form we vetoed it to the city attorney there the language and in a week or two to have those folks from that landlord side take into account this so it is intuitive enough for people to use it a little bit anyone done but this will end up with the back end basically like a spreadsheet that is searchable if we get a complaint we'll search before i address or name or figure out if someone didn't get this notice there is enforcement actions so 9 back end is a database that is the most important thing for me has this guarantee goes from year to year it when build up hefty but

across the additional is narrow alley i mentioned i was concerned about that to the head of security at that time, i went by there and did an inspection i was by this weekend but asked about a party i haven't heard any compliments i didn't make a big deal but nevertheless, we received a complaint it was forwarded to us from officer my hat's off i'll go by thursday and take time to see if we can't solve it and a similar with barbara rosa loufrng i went by new year's i didn't know if it was the same operator when i talked to the operator the week after the first week of january they said they are were not
3:17 am
doing a lot of entertainment they were going to do a lounge situation that changed they have been doing entertainment and a neighbor on the other side of the brick wall getting a lot of noise complaint i haven't had an opportunity to talk with the management again since i got the complaint i want to first go to the residential unit and probably happen this weekend and emigrate on idea before i do anything and we'll go from there so pending this weekend his night club another containment from sfpd from officer mathis - it's a
3:18 am
reoccurring issue they'll have to need to get under control so i'll be by there this weekend to talk about it and move towards a resolution a couple of compliance first off 125 mission street i talked about with the management about the complaint and, of course, i mentioned the last couple of hearings i've been by and a lot of the containment railroad overexaggerated but i got on e-mail from the complainant that shares the wall with the venue and he had a video of a sound test he took they were exceeding their rating or whatever exceeding the codes he forget which code but nevertheless, i talked with management and went
3:19 am
by there with commission lee we saw there they were keeping the side door open to a room where the wall is they shared nevertheless, they need to keep the door shut and go from there if they can solve it themselves but director cain talked about that another issue with irish pub i was able to track down the owner with the help of sfpd i called the owner and talked about the issues he's having he explained to me as far as keeping things picked up and people have been drinking i recommended to him was you know shoe the people
3:20 am
towards montgomery and washington there is less residential down there as opposed to 120 beyond a shadow of a doubt up the street a good place for ubers and taxis to pick up they're basically empty on washington street during that time of night so it looked fine no complaint and fusion lounges a couple of things i've seen super bowl weekend where they had you know probably over booked parties it was an issue i ant to talk with management about but they fired the manager that was under and hired somebody new so i forget traifz last name but the manager of magical a capable manager i think those issues are fine for
3:21 am
now i'll follow-up and go from there and holly cows it was one street over super bowl weekend the issues was resolved it was a busy party i'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. >> i have one question does love in propaganda do they have a migrant occupancy or limit in the smoking section how many people can be out there an would the time. >> i don't think so. >> how many people were there. >> probably around 20, 25. >> and that narrow alley they can certainly impose is it a barricade or smoking section. >> the smoking section is not barricade. >> maybe they should do that and maximum occupancy. >> honestly, i feel they can

3:23 am
compliance issues we bought one meter that is code compliant and taking video and taken sound test so it is hard to august if there were a couple of negligence that were loud so - >> does we have a phone number because they leave the door open or - >> they have other issues going on between the venue and like the neighborhood or the building owner some other stuff go on and so i try not to get two deep into that i try to enforce whatever you know the issues i tried to solve that with that said, they talked but you know bodies feel like the other side is unremarkable so it
3:24 am
is pretty well contentious issue. >> when i went to the backroom it is pretty dense and the backdoor is open when you get closer to the door your ear - then when he went to the back alley so we can only do what we can do. >> the sound test was clear as they keep the side door shut is it so fine but the particular time it was busy and they were not paying attention at all the door was open so i think the change of management you know some issues there but i talked like i said, i talked to the owner and give me the managers number i'll talk to the him or probably talk to the manager anyway. >> do you if this guy's sound

and propaganda is they're new name but the same issues they do the remodel for the propaganda and they're getting the complaints in the hotel i contacted looking at inspector pauleys ideas as far as to reduce the noise i think we're on the same page i'm going to briefing read a quick e-mail i soent to the manager at vessel danny i've been cracked by the hotel about the noise from the establishment it appears the same issues are coming back you're from the alley and the
3:28 am
smoking is creating a noise issue as a result, the hotel will discount rooms because of these disturbed and upset guests the hotel is getting bad reviews and this is the hotel industry effective immediately please have the guests off mission street i don't want our patrons to congregate the street but guide our patrons to stockton street that are for the security issues and motivating the patrons to go to stockton street and relieve the alley i think if we move them up to strongly street get rid of of the noise and the crowds 25 people 1340ik underneath the windows of hotel or the street which is the at
3:29 am
closing time and trying to get phone numbers warrior where they'll go next creates a big problem you have the hotel right there paying top dollars whether or not they are paying top dollars they're staying in san francisco and for them to be disturbed is not acceptable we want them to follow the good neighbor policy and not abort the neighbors the hotel should not think losing money with prior conversations with the general manager she said they refunded tens of thousands of dollars i think what i'd like to do so if this works and come up with anything that the commission can recommend just to tweak this so they can operate and not disturb the patrons. >> my only concern about that is more it could be more than a hundred feet from the door and
3:30 am
under the good neighbor policy all we're responsible to say one hundred feet and so, i mean unless they were willing to sign on and - i don't know how to solve that problem maybe something the staff should ask the city attorney about can they sign something to be willing to do one and 50 feet or more once they send them away beyond one hundred feet they're not responsible for them anymore. >> we have the problem every weekend inside the hundred feet every single weekend if we get them to thin out and they'll keep on going get to stockton street there is car traffic
3:31 am
you'll not have the noise that goes into the walls it will be in front of the hotel a much bigger street. >> have you gotten response to our e-mail. >> not yet i put it out there today. >> i wonder what was said. >> background family extensive conversations and meetings with the hotel and the operators of the love and propaganda about this problem this is guilty or not guilty for years not new and just to say we're shut down and then reopted it x baited the problem they knew that was especially frustrating for me so this is now again, the same issue it was k3e79d it was anticipated, and yet no change
3:32 am
and we went down the road of discussing what the hotel can do inside the rooms in particular that are effected what can the club do assisting the hotel address nothing has changed now i'm beyond mad just so you know. >> is this a non-smoking venue. >> i'll ask the attorney. >> about the hundred feet. >> the point is nothing changed and now we're at square one again, it is not pretty. >> the owner of the club they said to can go beyond their own; right? >> we're not requiring them to. >> that would be great if they sent us something inform e-mail we're willing to proposal beyond the hundred feet. >> i have a question as far as that goes i don't know the boundary line but from the exterior of that building is part of club goes in closer to
3:33 am
that your hundred foot line will be extended towards stockton street yes on the entrance that door over one hundred feet but the building line. >> for the question for the city attorney i don't know i'm not a lawyer but - >> point of clarity it is less than one hundred feet about 50 feet. >> is it that's fine. >> i was trying to picture it in my head and so - >> keep going. >> the second one the noise issue that was previous atmosphere and this was an e-mail i sent off today, i recently received a series of noise complaint and i'm from the board of supervisors your neighbors have exclaimed about noise emitting from our club the noise issues are x baited by the
3:34 am
smoking in the alley one of the neighbors said your music is too loud when those alley doors are open your 3 unit building is pounded with noise and on thursday i asked him to keep the doors closed and when the but the owner refused to speak with me and the security staff did nothing i want you to downloading do you believe your effort to remove the barriers and your neighbors have exclaimed of the noise the alley after the business is closed and please be in compliance with the northern california and lastly midnight shift sergeant had to respond to the area in front of our venue because of drunk people getting into fight i'll caution you as far as the owners
3:35 am
to check the thinking intoxicated individual and keep the sidewalks clear. >> so a question so that side alley was not useful it is was the front in their not complaining then awning that's an issue and thought that would be less problems if they could put it the alleyway but it has caused problems we're quickly getting oversee complaints too it is not accounting we'll not - to core edge off it is not your property it is hard. >> commissioners any other

3:38 am
to go from here he sent on e-mail last thursday to the office basically temporarily surrendering his entertainment permit for the location on sutter street indicating that to those two people are not involved the business and he would agree to because he didn't know now yet what he'll do with respect to the location we told you the central station but trying to come up with a business model and other partners or you know an entirely whatever scenario he agreed that before he want reactuate or give the treatment permit he'll come before the commission and present the new form and
3:39 am
whomever is involved and the police department is in concert with that so i expect this will take a few months if not longer there maybe pending abc action not really sure i know that director or sergeant. >> lieutenant sorry he's out of town so if i want to follow up on that we'll have to wait until he gets back. >> bottom line with respect to the safety concerns and the police and the neighbors this location is out of operation and my extension that it will not come back into operation until it comes before this body. >> it sounded like a great plan we'll hear from folks - officer mathis.
