specifically to san francisco port show the framework hold $500 million reduction in the tiger program has funded 0 transportation and other port projects last year the port received 6 hundred plus million dollar in the infrastructure so for dogs, and rail and roadways for this grant program we're planning to apply for a tiger grant for the mission bay ferry and watching to see how the program a impacted on the right side the fast lane is not impacted we had planned and will pursue a grant for ambassador and cargo way and continue to watch those programs carefully the fast lane is funded at the 9 housing unit dollar annual amount through 2020 in homeland security we're

seeing about $700 million reduction to this program that is been an extremely impactful program for the motion passes that is the predisaster mitigation grant and security fund we every year put in lots of lighting and other security measures to keep our waterfront safe we will be watching careful to see how those reductions impact us we see a 31 percent reduction in the environmental protection agency and the green locomotive you approved through that program it was passed through the bay area air quality district to besides how it impacts the important grant program the ports rely on and

the united states corps of engineers is slated to see a 16 percent decrease and the blueprint didn't describe the changes in the budget we're eager to see the details because as you may know we have been looking executive director's report other united states corps of engineers to help us prepare and protect against flooding and with the seawall our finance community a working closely with the mayor's office and the controller's office to monitor this executive director's report i wanted to bring to your attention at this point, we're going to move to the federal government strategy kwoolg you've been very forceful and directive wore to pursue the funding for the infrastructure like important for ports important for the city's economic and to reduce the capital a backlog we'll keep on

>> i wanted to comment for the record i wasn't at the last meeting unfortunately, a conflict not in san francisco i wanted to say there was a presentation on the southern waterfront from the mayor's office of economic development we've been looking to see an sgralth planning in terms of not just looking at port properties in the silo for the city and neighborhood i wanted to go on record even to see that report and how our staff coordinated with the mayor's office and got a full report that is great for the southern waterfront that is obviously one of the areas we are continuing to look for further development and pleased so i wanted to make sure that was open record to see that report even though he's not here and to comment i think elaine is a great do have you for one on

the will proposed presidents budget and home you'll be with the mayor's office on a strategy in terms of the public relations we do make our needs and 0 known and the impacts this budget has i think we need to make sure that as commissioner vice president brandon goes to washington on the agenda for today, our needs are well known and nonpartisan needs to a happy for the city of san francisco regardless of how policies we need to make sure that there is good rational thinking going on in washington we don't suffer and the city didn't suffer and the country because of if unfortunately i'll not stay for the rest of meeting but makes want to say about i left.

said democrats and republicans do whatever you can too get concert chu kick in the door trader joe's we know the issues that are important to the port san francisco leader pelosi we need here back there and dianne feinstein and senator harris got to get out there the transportation committee is bipartisan there is democrats and rentals on that port caucus and john a friend of mine and good democrats there are some republicans on there had are moderate building in the port and senators it understand the importance of port we have to get to out there especially the money for sea level rise and other issues important i hope that you will go to marry and start a plan for the grants we have to get the grant and need the fund and
