i adopt to provide you with an update on wonder lounge 673 geary street. the business is on our permanent agenda for the permit application. since our last meeting we received 9 more complaints on the weekend of april 23rd. inspectored twice that weekends. and inspector conducted i compliance check on friday april 29th. during the response visits he befshd the business prit nothing compliance with temporary permit conditions and note there were a number of double park the cars on gearef waiting for patrons to be picked up caused traffic. i want to make you aware there was a shooting that occurred across the street if wonder lounge around closing on april 23rd. or twoshth. inspector was going become to bench closing and just

parked when he heard the gunshot on geary street. the following director and i spoke with the permit officer dustin sang about the incident on wednesday i spoke with officer sang and the owner and operation's manager and head of security for wonder lounge and discussion and upon review of security footage had is no evidence of bar was arc fill i didn'ted with temperature we have not received complaints since the 24th the inspector visited this friday and did observe the business operate nothing compliance. the only other update is about the brick sands witches located at 401 union street this business was granted an llp permit allowing indoor entertainment until 11 p.m. we received a sound complaint

occurrence of your neighbors, can you explain hawere there concerns? mostly? >> so -- there were occurrence of the double ps and the traffic flow. there were concerns of noise. some of the noise saying seeping out from the top at which we had mike come in multiple times and work with me and taking pictures of the area. we have windows 1 in the kitchen i make sure it is closed. a couple upstairs in the bedrooms and speak urs in the bathroom i disconnected in case that is the cause may be purke the sound out. that mike looked and we were in compliance. another noise complaint could be during the 1. . 45 to 215 when we clear everybody out. we look to clear everybody out

in segments instead of at once if you have 100 people out at once and they are making noise. it can get lloyd for neighbors i like to clear out the front section of the vennue first and work them out and push them to their vehicle and it is second per and then up stairs and get everybody out we tryd that a few times and seems the best strategy. and i feel like that is probably the best route toft go instead of everyone at once. >> so -- sounds like you are proactive. don't you think i guess the recommendation is to shut your music down at 1:30 tordo this slow push out. you know the music playing at 1:45 you got 15 minutes to get 100 people out and the street cleared. don't you knowledge i mean you don't have to kick everybody out

at 1. . 30 but there is a cooling off period. >> at 1:30 what we do that is the cooling off period we take the music to a lower pace. slow music to get people in the mood it make sure they close out. i feel like if we were to shut it down completely at 1. . 30 it it is an important part that 15 minutes make or break our business. as far as sales g. it is an important -- an important part of the 15 minutes is crucial to our business. >> shutting it down 15 minutes early weave do last call. gives people time to get red to exit and we slowly start purke people out. once the lights go of we are prepared observe 1. . 45 so it is in the like the lights go on and the music off and we are scrambling we are in place in order to get everybody

park system is really bad. i see from the enforcement report. i wonder if there are other solutions. you know you can say, look it is lyft and uber they are double parking that isow. even though it is in the you. but it is they are attracted by the people pou being out of your club. one thing explore is a uber or lyft pick up area, which isys to do if you reach out to those companies ufrm don't want to stick this in front of someone's house. but a bert location this does in the require blocking geary. which is a major street through that area. and i think just -- i think getting heavy handed with the lyft and uber drivers from your

security and going with a zero -- zero tolerance policy on double park. it leads to honking. which leads to upset neighbors. >> right. >> i agree with you i believe a lot has to do with the people waiting for the people to come out. i tell you that i have responsiblesed it i am on site there multiple times where the double parking backed up from neighbors park and running instead. not much you can do about that. your security should know the neighbors they should be able to double park their cars if they live there. if it it is being caused by you and i bet. i mean sounds like you are busy now which is wonderful they are good problems to have. right? but i would i would focus on those aggressively because those are the every time a neighbor
