we have our challenges, san francisco has a history of come become and public works plays an important role around cleaning and beautification. there are 2 big events show case the city's commitment to shine the first this week. dream force. the sales force tech conference at mosconi center. our street cleaning team you noted is working hard and strategicically around the clock to keep it looking good. crews successful efforts have been noticed. sales force ceo remarked how good the city looks. irquote of courses you can eat off the sidewalk. it is incredible. told the media. i want to note that this has been a real boost for our crews to have their very strong efforts recognized. we are really delighted there has been public recognition of

assist as needed. than i have made temporary fixings and the puc will perform more utility repairs. our team the continue to attends daily update meetings until the repairs are completed and work is expected to wrap up in 6 weeks. it was a major sink hole. dramatic. commissioner zoubi you asked for information on how we notified shared space sponsors when we have street paving projects with the exception of emergency repairs which are river, we give shared space head's up about construction 2-3 years before the work is scheduled begin. written notice is sent to the business during the sdooin design phase identifying limits and discuss construction impacts on the shared space. a second niis sent to the end of design 2-3 months after construction. it prosecute voids time line and

remindses the sponsor this they will need to cord nit with the project team to remove or modify the parklet to accommodate construction. in addition, our construction management and public affairs reach out to businesses and available on the ground to answer questions and minimize disruptions to leading up to and throughout construction. our team works close low with contractors on mitigation measures. all that said, it is important for shared space permit holdsers remember they may be obligated to remove the parklet at their expense to accommodate the construction that warning is in the official how to machineual, which states in some stance insubstance the city mirequire to you remove your parklet. we include that stimulation when we inform the applicant we print it on the permit when issued. we understand this businesses
