there are golden gate bridge it is amazing. businesses pop businesses. houses get passed down generation. it has a small town feel but you a big city at the same me.'s got a unique flavor i don't see in other neighborhoods is about being inclusive we are inclusive and welcome the communities, anybody should feel welc and shop local, eat local. we believe that with network it come in full circle. it is pthat's when richmond is about that we are together at once. welcome to the richmond. >> i just find a neighborhood in the city where you can hear music stands and take a ride on the lowstreet. it is an experience that you can't else in san francisco. [♪] ne is a in the southeast portion of the city. neighborhoods that i represent. st. m a completely unique architecture. very distinct feel, and very close to holly park which is another beautiful park ian francisco. the bernal heights district is unique in that hell which has one of the best views san francisco. there is a swinging hanging from a tree at the top. it isre swinging over the entire city.

there are unique aspects. it is considered the fourth chinatown in san francisco.e residents are of chinesee second unique, and fun aspect about this areathe garden district. there is a lot of urban the city grew the majority of the flowers. not only for san and of course, it is the location in m city's second biggest park after golden gate. many pe know the neighborhood in the first place if they haven't bee it the best neighborhood nobody has ever heard our. every neighborhood district nine has a very special aspect. where we are right now is the mission district. the mission district is a very. you smell the tacos at the [speaking spanish] and they have the best latin pastries. they have these shortbread cookies with caramel in the and then you walk further down and you have sunrise cafe place that you come for the incredible food, but to learn about what is happening in

the neighborhood and how you can help andty >> twenty-fourth street is the birthplace of the m over 620 murals. it is the largest gallery in the country and possibly the world. >> you can find political engagement park next it's another reason why we think this is a we must preserve. [♪] >> it was formed in 2014. we had been an organization that had been around 20 years. we worked a lot in the neighborhood aroundsues. most recently, in 2012 there were issues around gentrification in the neighborhood. so the idea of forming the cultural district was to help preserve the history a this neighborhood for the future of families and generations. >> in the past latino residents in the mission district have been displaced from their c know that the rising cost of living in san francisco has people being displaced. lower and the city. because it there is richness in

this neigh fact it is flat and so accessible by trip it very popular. >> it's a struggle for us right now you know, when you get a lot of development area a lot of new people coming to the area with different sets of culture. there is a lot of struggle betweenunity and the newness coming in. there a we do to try to slow it down so it doesn't complet erase the communities. we try to have developments that is more tune with the community and more equitable development in the area. >> you need to and gain the support and find ohe neighborhoods. the people on the businesses that came before you. dialogue and show respect. and then figure out how to bring in new, without displacing the old.
