any permits from our office. in response to a311 complaint submitted on saturday february 1st at 12:05 a.m. inspectors young rice and adams visited sacred taco shortly after at 12:25 a.m.. and upon arrival there was a dj performing at a high volume at the back of the restaurant. the inspector spoke with staff a staff member and explained that and explained that entertainment commission permits are required to host entertainment including the deejay. the manager on site reduced the music volume and eventually had the deejay and all together as inspectors left. sacred taco was issued a notice of violation yesterday on february 3rd for hosting entertainment without a permit. inspectors had visited sacred taco several times in response to other sound complaints and have had and have explained the permitting process to various staff members during each visit . the business previously took out a one time event permit for entertainment on in september 2024 but based on inspectors visits from saturday night the manager that applied for that

itself throughout the space. the area in question is the backyard where we will have the basketball court set up. there will be a deejay music which is more ambient music throughout most of the activation time that does extend over the six hours that we that was mentioned. and then the biggest notable probably the loudest sound will be during the 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. concert that we're going to have with a notable rap artist during that time and all the other music will be mostly ambient sound and we have some additional programing like a ac's three versus three basketball competition that will also produce some sound just from audience and and the game itself. i think that's all i have. okay.

>> san francisco has always been very diverse, very progressive and not only open in other ways but music as well. musicians always want to try to find something new to play and if they are thinking about playing something new or different.

i'm the product of the san francisco schools. i started when i was 10. i joined the band and that was the most interesting instrument to play. and you have to be able to put yourselves in different situations. that's what made me better. if you do with two or three ingredients, that makes it pretty boring. most people know me for playing with carlos santana, touring the world all over the place. phenomenal place with music and also being around him you have a lot of fun and learning a lot

about music and things beyond music too. this place is history, i have been here many many times like any 70s and seen some really incredible groups and that is being here a number of times is kind of a full circle moment. it's really something that we cherish when we play is getting the energy back and forth with the audience and kind of a symbiotic thing. playing for the home crowd and your family is really a meaningful thing to be and just a fun place to be in. a lot of great memories seeing so many groups here over the

my name is mark, the general manager of condor beach in san francisco. condor was created [indiscernible] when it started in 1964, the club becoming the first adult entertainment, club regal in america, that was something big, that was huge. condor givers you a little of everything. we open in the day on the weekends so we have a live band that play and night time we transform where the entertains come on and we have the

gentleman's club vibe along with the sports vibe. we show the ufc and boxing events and major sports and do little things like [indiscernible] comedy nights you can find what we are doing through our website. condor gives you a little bit of everything that you want when you want to go out and have a good time. being here in north beach and part of san francisco we put a lot of ourselves in the business. the good work we were able to do over the last decade to build it and make it what it is today t. is a honor to say, we are one of few businesses in san francisco that is a legacy business. hall is public voice. and the exhibition is in partnership with mission cultural center and archives. [music] this installation is 5 decades of the work that they have been doing since the upon upon 70s. it is a chronicle of san francisco's history. >> mission graphica part of latino image makers, educators. activists and memory keepers through the art this body is important it preserves the people's history. >> these are our new historical arsigh files >> every artist donated a piece of art work and so that collection is over 8,000 piece of latino created art work. >> it was exciting to see their incredible archives and what has

been great to see for us is how they work in community. in the ways this community has been in partnership with other communities throughout the last 6-7 dkdzs and longer in the bay area and the nation. political, we grapple with today has been part of our history and part of the print making history of mission graphica. this was the place everybody would come and get their prints med for free or at low cost. >> it will be successful for the area:may be work >> mission graphica is still the most accessible, low cost studios for emerging and established artists. people can come here to clean screens, expose them, learn the

art form at a low cost. we offer studio rental space as well as classes, low cost classes and free workshops and collectives. >> this is like history and contemporary coming together for us. and thinking about how the things that have changed and the things we still need to work on and support. >> i hope the people will recognize the transformtive power of art. and the impact that posters have in a community. posters are accessible they other people's art. anyone can do it. it is a strong tool of communication and social change. the posters have not only mobilized community they have also raised money for communities. and they have raised social consciousness. which is something this goes

but it is something that i never get over. the wrap around program really changed my life and they was there for me day one and i thank them so much. i couldn't do it without them. >> wrap around formed as a result of understanding early on in my career that what i was doing as a trauma surgeon was not enough. i needed help. i needed the community that was impacted the most by violence to direct me to understanding what was necessary to be more comprehensive in creating care for patients and to really change

people's life course. >> the number of people coming into the hospital were youth. we wrap our arms around the people who come through so we try to equip with not only services, but just love and you know, we really try to meet their needs. >> we helped support them with services after recovery or while they are here, they need services anywhere from housing to basic needs, clothing, employment. we link to those services in hopes that we don't ever have to see them come back. >> my biggest wish and goal for the future of the wrap around project is that it wouldn't have to exist.

that we wouldn't have anymore violently injured people that our job is trauma surgeons would be defunth. >> to see them start walking again, to see them laughing and being happy, to feel like you know what, this happened to me, but i'm going to make it, you know? i think no amount of money can ever pay us for that. >> it is rewarding to intercede and you know [indiscernible] change the trajectory of a child's life is awesome. we want to give them tools to be productive members of society, and give them a chance to have a future.

>> it gives me joy to be able to be a part of a young person's life and help them map out what their future looks like. you know, you can never get over trauma, but you can live with good amazing life after it and learn how to manage it and stuff like that, so we hope do that with them.
