claims he feared for his life. he says enhanced video showing the scuffle. adding that scott had traces it of alcohol in his system. he was 15 feet away when the first shot was fired and calling on the community to show up at today's hearing >> it is a sad day when they even think about letting mr. slager out on bond. >> police in the area have been briefed and are prepared to protect slager if he is released. they're bracing for 0 protests over the death of freddie gray a day after officials approved a $6.4 million settlement for his family. a judge is expected to decide if the trials of the six police officers charged should be moved out of baltimore. defense attorneys say the officers cannot get a fair trial in baltimore. experts believe the settlement could poison the jury pool.
