right in front of his building. the surveillance video capturing you can see two men come up from behind him, ground with $1100 cash, his credit card his phone. he is still sore from the assault. >> i thought it was a dream. >> reporter: these are the two men police are looking for. this video later made purchases using clarks stolen credit card. >> i was in shock. >> reporter: she is a friend and happened. she says clark is well giant heart. >> he is kind, very loving. >> reporter: as for, despite what happened he is keeping a positive

>> i could have been dead. >> reporter: if he thinks those two men knew he was carrying a cash he says he believed to they followed him home from the atm. police are asking anyone with information to please give them a call. in flatbush, stephan kim, channel 7. we are following breaking news off of staten island where a teenager has fallen down an elevator shaft. it happened in an abandoned building that was once a hospital. anthony johnson is at the seen -- anthony johnson is at the scene. >> reporter: we are standing on the corner here in staten island. let's show you that the abandoned building. it is a seven-story building. we understand this was

the person got in the building -- we do see gates up around the building. how that person got into the building we do not know. apparently, that person, a 16- year old fell seven floors, suffering head trauma. his condition is critical. again, this is an abandoned building. police have not said if he was in there with anyone else but, obviously, someone did call 911. this report came in around 5:00 this afternoon. i did hear that the building has been unoccupied for quite a long time. you can see some of the emergency vehicle starting to lean the scene. once again a 16-year old male falling seven floors in a building that was unoccupied at the time. we are still trying to figure out how that person got into the

we have breaking news out of newark where we have learned that a woman has been stock it killed by a car. -- where a woman has been stock and killed by a car. again, a deadly pedestrian accident. kudos for a hero who bravely ran into a burning bus two times. >> he saved two lives. it happened yesterday at the manorville exit. the bus hit a truck and erupted into flames. what would you do if you saw this happening? talking to the hero cop tonight. >> the first things are to thought about out thought about were his children. >> reporter: a school bus on fire is enough to terrify anyone. when he got out of his car and ran to the smoke he feared the worst. how many children?

what will it take to save them all? >> it was my biggest fear. i have two kids of my own. it was a big concern. >> reporter: you learned there were no children but, there was a driver and the smoke was getting thicker. >> the bus was pushed in so the flames in the engine were close to his feet. the smoke was billowing in and it was very tough to breathe. >> reporter: he got both of them out minutes before the entire bus erupted in flames. it happened here near exit 70 in manorville. the bus had just left to pick up children when police say it slammed into a box truck. the officer has been on the force for eight years. assigned to the transit division and honored today by the

commissioner. he was off-duty and on vacation with his family at the time of the crash. the photos of the fire were taken by his wife. they are very proud of him. >> he does great work when he is on duty. we are very proud of him. >> reporter: back to you. a a dog mauled a little girl today and attacked several people before it was shot by a police officer. it all happened this morning. a dog escaped from his home and started to bite the little girl. the father ran to his rescue and he was bitten himself. when police arrived in officer opened fire. we are told the dog has a history of violence. the dogs owner had died a few days ago. still to come, lee goldberg says it will be over at some point. what is some point? that is the question. it is raining right now.
