what led to this dispute in the house here in this quiet houses. we know there was a fatal stabbing. the suspect and victim were both 22-year-old women. one was pregnant, and has now delivered the by by, the baby -- baby, the baby is okay, it's not clear if the pregnant woman was the speck for the victim. a -- suspect or the victim. a confusing story, and we'll continue to follow it. bronx. >> sad story as well. thanks. other breaking news, a man with a sword swinging it wildly on one of the busiest corners of the new york city. home to apple's flagship store. this is exclusive video. tensions while it was happening, thick as you can imagine. here's the latest. >> reporter: according to witnesses inside the store when it happened, it happened in the

store, the man just walked in, and started swinging the samurai sword wildly, and we have exclusive video, you can see everyone clearing out of the stairwell as he was swinging it, and he was screaming m but they couldn't tell what, but with the heightened security there was panic and tension, and they say the man never made it downstairs into the store. they say security guards created a wall to protect the customers, that man eventually made it outside to this public space. the store was not evacuated, but outside he was swinging the sword even more wildly, witnesses say it appeared he was about to injure himself, eventually two officers in the area did arrest him. he was arrested without incident, without resisting we're told, and we have a central nervous system video of that -- eyewitness video of that as well. here's witnesses. >> security grabbed me because

i was trying to talk him out of it because i thought he was trying to commit suicide. i dropped my things and ran up to him, security grabbed me and said no, i said let me talk to him. not that i have history in that, but i wanted to diffuse the situation. >> reporter: according to several witnesses it was very obvious he was an emotionally disturbed person, but the good news no injuries, he was taken into custody and taken to the hospital, and this created some very tense moments and panic, no one knew why he was doing this, but that's the latest, channel 7, eyewitness news. >> thank you. a well known dentist in manhattan accused of a series of really disturbing crimes. federal prosecutors say john wolf used and distributed meth and possessed child porn videos. fbi agents say wolf had several videos of children, including infants being sexually abused.

moments ago a.j. ross spoke to some patients outside his office in chelsea. >> reporter: there was a federal raid here this morning so i've been asking patients if that's surprising. >> i didn't know anything about that at all. >> reporter: his demeanor never seemed -- >> no, not at all. i'm very surprised. >> again, a.j. ross reporting. attorneys for wolf say it's possible he was entrapped by government agents. tonight, a muslim extremist group is claiming responsibility for a deadly terror attack in africa. troops stormed the hotel to end the siege in mali. 27 people dead. six americans who hid inside the hotel we're told were safe. the attack was in the capital city of mali, and tim fleischer has the details in the news room. >> us if i believes are ron democratting -- condemning this latest attack, and trying to

citizens in the capital, and are ready to assist mali's government any way they can. >> reporter: as attackers stormed into the hotel they recollect began firing at -- they began firing at guests and woke workers. -- workers. while some gusts were able to escape to safety at a nearby sports center, the deadly stand off began. the terrorist took 140 guests and 30 employees hostage. developments. >> >. shows how ruthless islamic jihadist are, and anywhere. it appears this was an affiliate of al qaeda. >> reporter: the hotel was hosting a un eludings, and some -- delegation.

>> about a dozen american, including chief of mission personnel were rescued. i have no us injuries or deaths to report at this time, we're working to verify the safety and security of us citizens there. >> reporter: mali has seen previous activity by islamic extremist. this is the second attack at a hotel this year, and in 2012 france was forced to send in troops after fighters linked to al qaeda gained ground. >> a group from a north african branch claimed responsibility. they wanted fighters freed from prisons, and attacks to stop. >> thank you. to the terror attacks if paris -- in paris, a third body discovered today at the scene of the police raid wednesday. the man not yet identified.

the woman killed in the raid did not blow herself up at first reported. police say it appears she died from gunshot wounds. also killed in the raid the alleged ridge leader of the coordinated attacks at several sights in paris last week. france now under a three-month state of emergency that greatly expands police powers. back here in our area, new york city's police commissioner making the argument again that the city and the public are safe. bratton took the subway where he shook hands on the platform with officers, saying there's too much fear mongering, and criticized the decision of a school on long island to cancel trips to the city. >> i think that's totally, totally uncalled for. the city is safe and secure, and what they are doing is exactly what the terrorists want, so that's exactly what they should not be doing. >> he and the mayor insist isis is trying to scare new yorkers,
