developing right now, two nypd officers allegedly on the wrong side of the law now facing a judge and serious charges because of what officials say was happening at two local karaoke bars. >> a teenager shot after a fight at school spills into the streets. tonight, he's speaking exclusively with us about how his life is changed forever. >> that shooting forcing a lockdown at two schools as police search for the gunman. now the victim is speaking out, claiming he's an innocent victim. >> eyewitness news reporter speaking to the young man, he's in new york city for us. >> reporter: his name is steven sims and he's a senior at william dixon high school -- or dickenson high school, where earlier today around lump time there was a fight between two groups of students, some of them describing it as a brawl.

school and maybe an hour later, steven sims, a senior said he was in the supermarket getting a sandwich for his own lunch break when a fight broke out and continued on the street and that's when shots rang out and next. >> at first, i felt it but i didn't realize i was hit until someone told me that there was blood on my pants. >> reporter: and we just talked home. he says there is now a bullet forever lodged in his lower leg. he said he has a broken bone, the bullet is too close to his bones for doctors to remove it. he showed us his bloody pants and describes the pain he was feeling right now. he said he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time when that fight spilled out on to the street here on pal lisab, de avenue.
