an intense search tonight by new york police for a hit- and-run driver who killed police. the 29 kwraoerl -- 29-year-old man struck and killed last night. he was hit by a dark colored four door sedan. the victim's name not yet released and that driver just kept ongoing. another crash, this one in brooklyn. this time seven children hurt when their school bus crashed with a car then flipped over. it happened this afternoon. six minor injuries but one child was seriously hurt. the power ball jackpot growing to record numbers. tonight it's already shattered previous jackpots and now topping $800 million. good to reach $1 billion by tomorrow's drawings. if lines keep stretching around the country it very well could. lottery players skipping across the border into california to try their luck. aj ross in jersey city where excitement and fantasies of

and everyone into tomorrow evening you might have a touch of drizzle but the heavy rain runs through 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning. this rain really wants to come in early. this should be in the wee hours of the morning to 10 or 11. we're going to really get socked with heavy rain and heavy wind. if you have any plans to travel on sunday morning. if you can avoid that great, it's going to be a tough ride to church sunday morning then things are going to be getting a little better as we go through the day. even a break of sun could bring a shower. we need record warmth in the afternoon. look at the projected lows down into the 20s. any residual dampness could mean some black ice for your afternoon. areas of fog when you wake up tomorrow. that drizzle mainly in the morning. just mostly cloudy in the afternoon hours. tomorrow night temperatures rise through the mid- and upper
