slippery. now coastal flood advisories into tomorrow morning on the western end of long island sound, basically minor coastal flooding, and here's the radar. several round of snow across interior new jersey. we will have some snow showers in new york city overnight, but to the south and west not lightning off show. a storm forming taking a lot of snow with it out to sea, so look at the futurecast here, some rounds of snow showers, and then i don't want to down play the for slippery spot, i just don't think we'll get several inches of snow. light snow or snow showers overnight. for most a coating to an inch. an inch or two across interior parts of new jersey, andly ricky blake roads for the commute, and the -- and slippery roads for the commute, and then the bitter cold ahead down the road in the seven-day forecast, a new snow it's coming up in a few minutes.

democratic side is the loss hillary clinton suffered, will it bleed into other states and cripple her campaign? we don't know the answer to that yet. donald trump pulled off his first win of the primary season, a week ago in iowa, a set back. now an overwhelming victory, and he boosted turn out dramatically in new hampshire. her a massive back up of voters waiting to vote, and many of them for trump. >> we want to thank the people of new hampshire, right? we love the people of new hampshire. >> reporter: but the big question for republicans is who got second. a second place finish propelled the likes of bill clinton and barack obama into the white house. >> tonight the light overcame the darkness of negative campaigning.

>> reporter: on the democratic side, no big surprise, sanders won big, he had huge leads in the polls for week, and he kept up the attacks on clinton. not by name, but the message was clear. >> the government of our great country belongs to all of the people, and not just a handful of wealthy campaign contributors and their super packs. >> reporter: the question for democrats, how bad did clinton lose? her campaign seems to think she can recover after the loss, and eventually start rolling up wins in friendlier territory, especially in the south. >> >. now we take this campaign to the entire country, we're going to fight for every vote in every state. >> reporter: and the results here in new hampshire this evening, a big, big disappointment to governor christie. he campaigned a lot in new hampshire, and hoped for a second place or third place

in sixth place. he spoke at his campaign quarters this evening. >> we're going to new jersey to wait, by tomorrow morning or afternoon we should know the vote count, and allow us to make a decision about how we move from here in this race. >> reporter: and one other quick note, sanders is traveling to new york city tomorrow to meet with al sharpton in harlem tomorrow morning. now back to you. >> all right, what a night. sanders also appearing on the view tomorrow. so where do we go from here? it's a little confusing. the democrats hold a caucus in nevada saturday february 20th. the republicans hold a primary in south carolina that same day, then the republicans hold their caucus in nevada on february 23rd, and the democrats hold their primary in south carolina on february 27th.

eventually it becomes the primary storm. the lightning there pulling all of the snow offshore, so watch the futurecast, and of light snow and snow showers the next several hours, and then morning patchy snow showers, and the coastal low takes over, and no longer having a concern for any strong bands to really keep swinging over eastern long island, not the higher amounts, and that will swing away and just have wind and scattered snow showers into the tomorrow night. so with that in mind here's the forecast. basically an inch or less for most areas. i still think because we had several rounds over interior new jersey this is this best place to get an inch or two. the higher accumulation, two to five inches, north and west of philadelphia. patchy light snow, showers at sun rise. slippery. about 31. 39 or 40, snow goes to flurries quickly, then increasing wind in the day, and snow showers

cloudy sky, and black ice around the area. looking at the rest of the week, below freezing, couple of flurries wednesday. couple of snow squalls saturday morning as the true polar air is coming in, and then sub zero wind chills at night. the record lowered is 2 from 1960, and i think we'll go down to at least 3 or maybe closers to 0. high of 19 saturday. remains cold early next week, then a significant storm threat on tuesday which could be snow going to rain fall. obviously a ways away, but five straight day of sub-freezing weather with the core of the cold air, just brutal chill on saturday afternoon and night. bill evans with an update later with the snow showers. >> i'm cold already.

movies on the big screen, and now the walt disney company believes it will be a hit on broadway as well. it's set to open other president great white way in the spring of 2018, disney made the announcement today, the parent company of wabc tv. and tonight there was a party for the kids, kids night on broadway, they got to see a free show if their parents paid full price. one six-year-old daughter of mine is happy about the frozen show. >> sports is up next. >> yes, the knicks headed for a long all star break, but not before one game. with a new coach leading the way, another game that goes right down to the wire, but was it good to the last drop?
