six baltimore police officers cleared of charges in the death of freddie gray are back on the job today. the officers are all on paid administrative positions after charges were dismissed against the three remaining officers in the case. all the officers face an internal review that could result in them being disciplined or fired. gray died one week after he suffered a fatal spinal injury in the back of a police transport van in 2015. the hunt for suspects from a deadly police shooting overnight continues. one san diegan at the gang officer was killed late last night following a traffic stop. another was wounded and under wept surgery but is expected to recover. one suspect has been captured. he was shot and is hospitalized. his condition is not known at this hour. right now police are looking through a normally quiet neighborhood for others who may

during their crime by breaking into a car they inadvertently saved a dog's life. watch as one of the men in the group hurls something threw the window of the truck in chicago. a german shepherd was sitting in the back seat. he was locked inside that vehicle about 20 minutes baking in 85-degree heat. the men grabbed what they wanted and let the dog get out of the car. was otherwise okay. a terrifying scene on board an american airlines flight. flames shooting out of one of the airbuses engines after take off from dallas. the plane was forced to make an emergency landing as fire crews were waiting on the tarmac. the airplane made what is being called a hard landing but everyone on board was evacuated safely. close call. also rescue crews came to

hello, i'm lori stokes. >> i'm rob nelson. david and shirleen are off. we begin this half hour with an armed robbery at a business in brooklyn. police say video shows one of two suspects in a fedex uniform leaving the scene. they are accused of pistol whipping and robbing a man in the accounting office. >> mallory hoff is learn in williamsburg with the story. mallory? >> reporter: lori, rob, at this hour, investigators are trying

suspects in the case. they spent last night many hours collecting evidence. this morning the business is locked up and closedment i want you to take a good look at this surveillance video. it shows the man in what appears to be a delivery or fedex uniform. he runs across the street. you can see the glove drops to the ground. he takes his hat off. investigators want to talk to that man. this is the scene yesterday. the armed robbery happened at at an accounting office. investigators say two suspects were dressed as delivery men. they are accused of pistol whipping the business owner and tying up the teenage secretary before taking off. they stole just under $1,000. a nearby business owner says he saw the suspects make a run for it. >> the guy was running off. went to the door. tried to open the door.

problems with the case months ago after prosecutors admitted a witness lied and a retrial was granted. now the new trial will not happen as prosecutors backed way from the suspect altogether. today authorities are asking if not this man then who killed chandra levy. prosecutors are dropping charges against ingmar guandique convicted of murdering the intern in a park in 2001. >> i wish the right person, they did to my daughter -- . >> reporter: ingmar guandique was convicted based on a jailhouse confession. prosecutors admitted they withheld evidence that raised questions about the main witness. prosecutors say charges should be dropped due to recent unforeseen developments that were investigated over the past week. >> it sounds like now these u.s. attorneys have lost even for faith in this same witness

some truly creepy surveillance video this afternoon of an intruder lurking in a home in chicago. a hooded man appears at the the home and he stairs down to the living room for nearly 15 minutes. what you don't see are the two homeowners who were there sleeping on the couch. the intruder appears to be watching them sleep and watching what is on the tv. >> the guy has some kind of issues, right? first breaking into homes and then on top of that, watching people is strange. >> the only reason the couple
