story in think in energy. a deadly shooting occurred overnight in newark. one man killed. another victim a woman nearly nine months pregnant was injured. diana rocco is live at university hospital with new reaction. good morning. >> ken good morning. this all happened early this morning. one man was killed, that pregnant woman now recovering here at university hospital, taken here shortly after all of this transpired. police are now looking for a morning. this happened at 196 seem more avenue around 12:30. that investigation taking several hours while the road was closed. neighbors say they saw a shooter fire at several people standing on a porch. the man was hit several times and stumbled into the kitchen. police have not said if there was some type of dispute

this morning believe it to be drug-related. >> a lot of people didn't know it because of the dangerous situation. >> so that woman is approximately nine months pregnant. she was shot in the left foot and is recovering here at university hospital this morning. again, police still looking for the gunman while prosecutors are investigating. diana rocco channel 7 eyewitness news. an x-ray technician at a brooklyn hospital was accused of sexually assaulting two women at kings county hospital. where 65-year-old larry jones worked as an x-ray technician. saturday jones sexually assaulted a 57-year-old woman and an 83-year-old woman in separate incidents. both women were getting x-rays of their legs. jones has worked at kings county hospital for 13 years.

for a long time, over and over again. >> there could be other victims right? >> might be. >> they should be investigated to the fullest. >> jones has a lengthy arrest record. the hospital released a statement, saying it is committed to the safety of its patients. 6:04. new this morning a woman says a suspected drunk driver crashed her 30th birthday party on long island. danielle deer yo says she and a group of friends were at a restaurant in center port last night when they started hearing screeching sounds. when they came outside they saw a driver ramming into their parked cars. >> it was crazy. we were having dinner. it is my 30th birthday. it was about 9:00 at night. and all of a sudden, there was a bunch of smashes and screeching. >> 10 cars were seriously damaged, among them hers.

two other fires in the area are forcing evacuations. police are looking for the man who they say attacked and robbed an elderly woman on arthur avenue in the bronx. the man in the surveillance video followed an 81-year-old woman into her apartment building, ripped off her necklace, kicked her in the back and took off. the woman was not seriously hurt. a north carolina family is demanding answers after troopers shot and killed a man who friends and family gathered to remember daniel larris. harris was shot and killed in his -- harris was shot and killed in his driveway after troopers chased him for six miles and tried to pull him over for a speeding ticket. witnesses believe harris was trying to use sign language to communicate before they shot him. the fbi is investigating a
