burfoot is out bond tonight. he will be back in january 20th. live in norfolk jason marks 10 on your side. continuing our team coverage: let's take a closer look at the indictment itself. it's a very detailed document -- 30 pages in total. 10 on your side's andy fox spent the afternoon diving into that indictment andy, it includes some serious allegations. everything from conspiracy to commit honest services wire fraud, corruption to perjury. while doing the public good, federal prosecutors allege burfoot was ripping off the public. while claiming to fight for taxpayers, the feds allege burfoot was taking kickbacks. hundreds of thousands of dollars in kickbacks. norfolk city treasurer anthony burfoot made a call this morning to his office business manager stanley stein.

businessman-- for special september of 20-14. new information just into the newsroom about a fire at a virginia beach goodwill store - back in novemeber. fire crews sent us this surveillance video of the two suspects setting fire to stuff left outside the store on lynnhaven road. you can see two people walking across the back of the goodwill store parking lot. you can see the one male walk up to a pile of donated goods left unattended at the back of building. around one-thirty the morning of novemeber 29th. the fire damaged the rear of the building, the back door, an awning and the donated items. if you know anything about the two people in the video or this fire - call the virginia beach fire prevention bureau at 3-8-5-4-2-4-8. we're following developing news in norfolk. a lot of commotion after police looked into what they say was a suspicious

norfolk today. this was the scene at the sentara healthcare package was just a briefcase. many of you called in with concerns about the heavy police presence. part of the facility was evacuated during the investigation - for a few hours. virginia beach police are working to track down a bank robber. the hold-up happened around 11 this morning, at southern bank on kempsville road at centerville turnpike. we brought you this story as breaking news at midday. detectives say this man in a baseball cap and a denim jacket walked in and handed the teller a note demanding cash. police say he implied he had a weapon. the suspect ran out with the cash. if you recognize him--- call the crime line. police have arrested a man for a hotel shooting in chesapeake. 28-year-old jamaar bryant faces malicious wounding, robbery and gun charges. police say bryant shot the victim yesterday morning inside a room at the extended stay america hotel in greenbrier. at last check the victim, the victim is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

there's a new bus terminal in downtown norfolk. city leaders attended a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning. you may have seen the construction over the last few months. it's on st. paul's boulevard across from chrysler hall. the center allows bus passengers to wait inside before catching their rides. it also has restrooms. h-r-t also says it also boasts plenty of benches and security improvements. virginia's attorney general is firing back over concerns about the concealed handgun permits from utah. last month, mark herring said permits held by residents of 25 states

and done research of his own. 10 on your side's erin kelly has their story. they sat on opposite sides of a virginia beach courtroom friday -- karen poole and lauren poole. the two women were married in maryland in 2013 and had a baby through a sperm donor the next year. later -- they separated -- leading to the question -- who is considered a legal parent to that child? lawyers for karen -- the biological mother -- had argued it was up to her to choose the second parent, and compared lauren's status to that of a stepparent, court documents show. lauren's legal team argued in documents she was there for the child's birth, provided financial support, health insurance, and care for child. on friday -- judge steve frucci decided the question for them -- saying it is clear that at the time of conception and birth lauren was intended to be a parent. c0002 - barbara fuller - plaintiff's attorney 3944 the fact that lauren is a 3948 and visitation with the child
