will be in the 20s and we're still working to find out how u-s sailors drifted into iranian waters. we told you this morning on wavy news today -- iran released all 10 after holding them overnight. 10 on your side's stephanie harris is us today. lex, the 10 sailors, nine men and one woman were released this morning after being questioned by iranian forces last night. iran's state news agency has released photos showing ten american sailors during their detention territorial waters. iran's islamic revolutionary guards corps said it freed the sailors after determining they had entered iranian territorial waters by mistake. the pentagon says there is no indicatoin the sailors were harmed. the state department said secretary of state john kerry did not apologize to iran but he did offer morning. say a constable shot and killed a 12-year-old girl while he was serving an eviction order on the family. police say the constable was trying to evict 57-year-old donald meyer -- when meyer pointed a rifle at him. that's when the constable fired. officials say the bullet passed through meyer's arm and hit his 12-year-old daughter ciara, which killed her. police say the girl was standing behind her father. the girl's family say they blame her father for her death and that this could have been avoided. meyer is now facing several charges/ we can show you video of a driver taking deputies on a wild chase through oklahoma city. speeds in this chase reached more than 100 miles an hour at some points. the truck even started going the wrong way down the interstate to try to shake the police. that's when officer made the decision to spin the truck out. officers bumped the truck and pushed him to the side of the road. when officers tried to arrest him, he started fighting back. eventually, they were able to get him under jail.

detroit haven't been to school this week. that's because their teachers keep calling in sick to protest the conditions of the buildings they work in. teachers are taking part in a staged "sick-out." they say they are sick of health conditions, as well as the weak materials they have to use to try to help students learn. the teachers are also protesting michigan governor rick snyder's plan to fix the district's massive amount of debt. now, mayor mike duggan is getting involved. he is demanding changes to the city's emergency management system. mos says: "(reporter: 'how do you respond: 60 sick- outs yesterday, 24 today, but they may be illegal?") like i said, we are backed up into a corner." snyder says: "if it continues, you will se some action, i'm sure, but they need to find ways to communicate not against the teachers that are sick?") you need to talk to the schools people about that, my responsibility is to make

clinic where hoverboard injuries are adding up. orthopedic surgeon, doctor jonathan foret, says he's never treated patients for hoverboard injuries until this holiday season. also new at midday-- a virginia beach man will spend five years behind bars for animal cruelty. 26-year-old arthur vieira was arrested last june. officers found his dog dead in a brush fire in may. in addition to his five year sentence for animal cruelty, he will serve 90 days each for obstruction of justice and improperly disposing of a pet. 14 people were killed in an attack on a polio vacciantion center in pakistan today. the local police chief says the bombing killed 12 police officers, a soldier, and a civilian. 23 othe people are injured. the bomb went off before vaccination teams were due to go out to neighborhoods to start a three-day immunization campaign. the attack appears to be a suicide bombing. nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack. police in turkey arrested three russians they say have ties to isis. a turkish news agency says police conducted the raids a day after an isis suicide bomber attacked a historic site in

10 foreigners died, most of them german tourists. russian officials have confirmed the arrests, saying the suspects were allegedly in contact with isis fighters in conflict zones and had provided logistical support to the militant group. meanwhile, the french navy is carrying out some airstrikes against isis targets in iraq and syria. this is new video of fighters taking off from the ramp of the french aircraft carriers. 10 to 15 fighters strike isis targets each day. there is still no outside confirmation north korea tested a hydrogen bomb. but, that isn't stopped north korea from celebrating it's alleged achievement. the state-run television agency in north korea put out pictures of an award ceremony where kim jong un gave commendations to workers who contributed to the test. the agency says kim gave a congratulatory speech before the ceremony, in which he said alleged hydrogen bomb test "frioghtened the u-s and its allies." kim handed out awards and shook hands with the

the search for the missing malaysia airlines plane that disappeared almost two years ago has not turned up any signs of the plane. but, during the search, a team of austrailian researchers found a shipwreck. the wreck dates back to the 1800's. sonar imagery found the what is likely a steel-iron vessel. this is the second 19th century shipwreck found by the search team looking for the missing plane. earlier in the search, they found a cargo vessel. dozens of inmates found a way to escape from a prison in brazil. it's the single largest prison break in the history of the state of rio grande do sol. the 46 inmates dug a tunnel about 131- feet-long. after they got out of the prison, many of the inmates got into taxis. or simply ran away. a lot of them were recaptured this morning. most of the prisoners were in jail for theft charges. this is the third time prisoners have escaped the prison this year. also, in brazil, protests over the increase of bus

riot police used tear gas, stun grenades, and pepper spray to stop the rowdy crowd. the protesers were wearing masks and could be seen throwing rocks at police. the protests all started because the mayor of sao paulo raised bus fares from 87 cents to 94 cents. similar increases also happened in rio de janiero. people in ireland are continuing to deal with deadly flooding and the irish governement is coming under pressure to do more to stop it. today, a community had to use a boat to take the body of a man by boat to the local cemetery. the road to the cemtery was blocked by flood waters. members of a scuba diving club helped guide the boat with the remains and mourners in it. six skiiers got stranded on a mountain in japan earlier today. four men and two women were skiiing at a resort and somehow got off track. they were able to clal for help, and rescuers were able to get to them. but, they had to stay overnight at the mountain before the workers could get them. they got off the mountain early this morning. nobody got hurt.

help wanted! a farm in central virginia is looking for some volunteers to snuggle goats. yes, you heard that right. it's not a joke, the farm in albemarle county is expecting 90 goats to be born there by the middle of february. so, it is look for volunteers to give those kids some love. newborn goats have to be bottle fed four times a day and be kept warm. one of the farm workers says it will be a learning experience for the volunteers. (isabella zechini, carmount farm): "this is kidding season, it's gonna be a really happy and really hectic time, we'd love to have people come and see that whole process and see where their food comes from." ?never fed or cuddled a goat before? that's okay. the farm
