chopper 10 recorded a lot of video above the fire. we posted images from the air and the ground like this one on wavy.com we're following breaking news in accomack county where state police are on the scene of a small plane crash at the accomack county airport. we're told it happened about an hour ago. state police tell us the pilot and passenger both got out of the plane. we're working to find out if they're hurt and how this happened.

newport news police say the double murder suspect shot by officers is out of the hospital and behind bars. 33-year-old laratio dantzler faces 2 counts of first degree murder, gun and attemped robbery charges. detectives say he shot and killed 38-year-old cadre grey and 30-year-old quinton kelly thursday morning. police found both men dead in a van at 14th street and wickham avenue. officers later caught up with dantzler and shot him during the encounter. police say they're still looking for a second suspect. new information in the raids at several chesapeake massage parlors. police say 14 women now face charges. here are 10 of their mugshots. their ages range from 18 to 59. the women face charges including frequenting a bawdy place, committing a prohibited act at a massage establishment, and having peep holes in doors for rooms that have an expectation of privacy. local and federal investigators searched six businesses on friday - and took the women into custody. outside of

coastal way --- you can see two women in handcuffs, led into a chesapeake sheriff's van. the chesapeake police department special investigations unit and the department of homeland security also raided pure massage, massage elite, asian dream massage, sunny spa and time massage. police say the investigation has been ongoing for about a year. we posted the mugshots with names and charges on wavy dot com. dozens of law enforcement officers from all over hampton roads, other parts of virginia and maryland gathered today to remember a police k-9 killed in the line of duty. krijger ( was shot and killed after a police standoff with a man involved in a domestic dispute. according to police, 58 year old keith richardson shot krijger, an officer then shot richardson. richardson died the day after the standoff. a memorial service for krijger ended at 2:30 this afternoon. 10 on your side's brandi cummings was there and joins us live at the norfolk

it has been a somber day for k-9 officers near and far. this is a tight knit community and they all share the grief of the norfolk police department. the ceremony began at 2p. two chaplains gave remarks. norfolk police chief michael goldsmith also gave remarks. dozens of law enforement members from all over hampton roads were. we saw officers from prince george county, and chesterfield county as well. there were several k-9s in attendance. krijger's handler sat at the front of the service with his family. this was obviously a very emotional time for them. krijger had served the norfolk police department three years. the american flag outside the k-9 unit remains at half-staff today in his honor. officers are also wearing black around their badges to remember krijger. his name was recently added to the memorial outside the k-9 unit. before the ceremony began, i spoke to a k-9 officer from richmond. he

newport news police say an officer's body camera caught video of a suspect in an armed robbery. tonight they're asking for help identifying him. they think the man took money from a dry cleaning business off warwick boulevard. 10 on your side's erin kelly has talked to the victim and police. a woman here at nam's cleaners says she was working alone -- sewing -- when a man came in, pointed a gun at her head, and demanded all the money. according to police, the robbery happened friday

sports engineers say they've come up with the safest football helmet to help prevent concussions. they debuted it this week, a year after the n-f-l gave creators a grant. it's a four layered helmet with a shell that absorbs impact. it has a layer that prevents skull fractures. it also has a semi-soft exterior shell. you can see in this video how the new helmet on the left absorbs impact better than the standard helmet on the right. if they pass a final safety test, athletes could start using this new helmet as soon as next season. jason marks, toys breaking news out of gloucester the sheriff's department released the name of the teen killed in a weekend shooting. 18 year old josh morrison from yorktown - died sunday. a friend gave us these pictures of josh. three other people were also shot at that time. we're told two 20 year old men from newport news and a 15 year old girl from yorktown are expected to recover. police charged 18-year-old dijon whitter for shooting all four people. police say it happened near the intersection of ditchley road and gill - early sunday morning. new information in the

sailors in iran. the military has released a timeline of what happened last week. u.s. naval forces central command says on january 12th --- two riverine command boats departed kuwait at 9:23 a-m to conduct an underway refueling with the u.s. coast guard cutter monomoy. that was scheduled at 2 p-m. the boats planned to travel down the middle of the gulf and not through the territorial waters of any country other than kuwait and bahrain. at 2:10 p-m --- the navy received a report that the boats were being questioned by iranians. at 2:45 p-m --- communications were lost. air and naval assets started an intensive search and rescue operation. at 6:15 p-m --- the u-s-s anzio received a communication from the iranians that the sailors were in iranian custody and were "safe and healthy." they were safely released the next morning. the defense secretary has said a navigational error caused two navy

we're learning more about how four american prisoners released by iran were treated during their time in captivity. psychologists at the u-s base in landstuhl, germany are assessing the men's state of mind. a representative says they are doing great physically and spiritually. jason rezaian is enjoying time with his wife, mom and brother. jason says at one point he spent 49 days in solitary confinement at that prison. his only exercise was in an eight by eight foot concrete yard. amir hekmati is now reunited with his sisters and brother in law. he describes being tortured by iran's revolutionary guard. it's been four weeks since two men abducted a woman outside a sam's club in virignia beach. then drove her to several atms, forcing her to give them hundreds of dollars. we first told you about it back in december. today - that woman is talking only to 10 on your side - in hopes it will help police make an arrest. she gave new - exclusive information to our deanna leblanc. anita the victim said she not only wanted to talk to us in hopes that the public will know something that will lead to arrests. in her exclusive interview with 10 on your side - she says the victims told her they wanted her money - to buy drugs. now she says she'll pray for them - and hopes they'll get help. this is new video of one of the two suspects as he

car. and the message she has for those men, and for you. plus - a new information you'll only see on 10 - of that second suspect. i'm dl 10 on your side. the california highway patrol is investigating why a greyhound bus rolled onto its side during the morning commute. two people died. 18 are hurt. the bus flipped around 6-30 this morning onto the center divider on highway 101 in san jose. it was raining at the time. no other vehicles were involved. there's still no sign of 12 crew members missing after two marine helicopters crashed off the coast of hawaii. the coast guard says three life rafts that were aboard the helicopters have been recovered. some of them were inflated. but there's no indication that anyone was aboard them. a fourth raft was spotted. no one was aboard. thursday night --- someone reported seeing the helicopters flying --- and then a fireball. hours later --- a military plane spotted debris off the coast of oahu. more than 60 marines have been involved in the search, along with navy divers and county, state and federal agencies.

are investigating what sparked a house fire overnight that killed four people. the fire started around 2 a-m in prince george's county. there were seven people inside the home. three year-old twins and their grandparents died when they became trapped. the twins' mother was injured jumping from a second-story window to safety. two others escaped safely. investigators say there's no sign of a smoke alarm in the home. the so-called "affluenza" teen remains in a mexican detention facility and continues to fight extradition. there was a hearing scheduled in texas today to consider whether 18-year-old ethan couch violated his probation in a deadly drunken-driving wreck. and if the case should be transferred to adult court. the judge ruled the hearing could not proceed because couch's parents were not officially notified. couch was sentenced to 10 years' probation after killing four people in a 2013 crash. authorities say couch and his mother fled to mexico in december, after a video surfaced that appeared to show him at a

drinking. drinking alcohol would be a violation of his probation. if a judge agrees to transfer the case to adult court --- couch's probation could extend beyond his 19th birthday in april. he could also be ordered to spend 120 days in jail . a new hearing date has not been set. the florida home once owned by colombian drug lord pablo escobar is gone. it is demolished. crews took it down this morning. the home was owned by escobar in the 1980's before it was seized by the u-s government in 1987. escobar's cartel was responsible for a good bit of the cocaine imported into america during the 1980's and 1990's. the current owners purchased the home in 2014. they plan to build a new home on the plot of land. california police have arrested a man more than 70 times for panhandling! fresno cops say they picked up 43-year-old kevin joy again. officers say they've cited him for similar violations 11 times

and more than 60 times in 2015. during his most recent arrest monday, police say he had some $18-hundred dollars in cash on him! city leaders have tried to hook him up with a job, but he's decided to make money by begging. a scary police chase on a los angeles highway. when police finally stopped the woman behind the wheel, they quickly discovered she had several passengers! 6 dogs! when the car stopped, the dogs jumped out and ran on the interstate. police worked to corral them and get them to safety. this morning, the driver is in custody, and animal control officers are caring for the dogs. an indiana sheriff's deputy was in the right place at the right time when an s- u-v plunged into frigid water. he was actually on the side of the road doing paperwork for another crash. deputy chris amstutz/allen co, in "i just happened to look up, control, start to slide, then i saw it flip into the ditch." angelica yanez/victim "i realized that it was filling up with water.

our area. so, plan on another pipe-bursting cold night. it won't be as windy as last night, so wind chill values won't be as low. however, still expecting wind chills in the low teens on average. wednesday, an upper disturbance moves in through the evening. this will lead to the chance for light snow...however accumulations are likely...at best 1". then, we'll be watching the storm system that'll move in by friday. it's too early to talk about how much snow will occur and where, but it does look like we'll see some snow as it starts on friday...then everything turns to rain the rest of friday. heavy rain is possible. by saturday midday, it'll transition over to snow
