even though its a lot warmer today - a lot of those side streets saw a clear - even though there are some traffic tie ups on interstate-664 near powhatan parkway in hampton. a lot of accidents across the commonwealth - including hampton roads as this storm pushed through. the most recent update sent out by state police say between friday through today: more than 15-hundred accidents and another 25-hundred disabled vehicles. we saw more than 570 crashes in our area. v-dot is still working to keep roads safe for drivers. a lot of crews from our area are in other parts of the state - to help with massive snow cleanup. v-dot's main concern is interstate and primary roads. officials remind people to drive with caution, as some roads may still be slick.
