family is having to raise cartwright's three children. jason marks 10 on your side. tonight we're learning more about what police say happened before raids on six chesapeake massage parlors. officers arrested 14 women earlier this month, following a year-long investigation. 10 on your side's erin kelly has been looking at court paperwork. court documents show the massage parlors were listed on online databases that rate places that are alleged to perform sexual activity as part of the massage. the paperwork also says workers touched undercover detectives inappropriately. this was the view from chopper 10 -- earlier this month -- as two women were escorted into a sheriff's van at a massage parlor. police and federal agents searched six massage businesses that day -- following a year-long investigation and hours of surveillance. court paperwork says a citizen told investigators that a woman working at one of the businesses reached toward his "erogenous zone." according to the documents, on the day before and the day of the

detectives entered the 6 businesses for 30 minute massages. the documents say the masseuses touched the detectives inappropriately. police would not discuss these cases -- but say that kind of interaction establishes "probable cause" -- and that detectives stop the activity -- and either arrest the workers on the spot -- or later. the documents also say investigators only saw male clients entering and exiting the businesss and that workers were not leaving after hours, indicating they may have been sleeping there. c0008 - robert ike jr. - chesapeake city council 2544 as a former police officer, here in going on in our city. 2550 i am kind of surprised that was going on, basically under everybody's nose 2554 i'm glad we're ferreting it out and getting it out of chesapeake 2558 chesapeake city councilman robert ike says a church pastor and a planning commission member approached him about strengthening city ordinances last year. c0008 - robert ike jr. - chesapeake city council 2343 we all met with city atty and the police chief and we crafted some

was missed. it was just one witness - who around 8am west coast time - reported hearing three gunshots from the basement of a gym and barracks area. shortly thereafter the hospital made this facebook warning patients and staff to "run, hide, or fight" about 65-hundred military staff and civilians work there. then uniformed military personnel - america's bravest men and women - walked out of the buildings - arms in the air. multiple agencies responded and after an initial sweep, the navy says they cannot corroborate the witness's story. na45t sd naval ctr newser (-- sot --) captain curt jones/commander of naval medical center :16 "we are continuing to clear the building and to ensure that there are no casualties. there's nothing that's not right in the building. as of right now we have found nothing that indicates that shots were fired." meanwhile, people trying to get to work have been parked on the interstate for hours. and another update

parked all day trying to get their children from daycare - can finally get in. the daycare is no longer sheltering in place. the hospital is still directing anyone with medical emergencies - to go elsewhere. in the newsroom i'm dl 10 on your side. we're following developments in a police chase we first told you about as breaking news this morning. chesapeake and norfolk police are searching for a suspect after a police pursuit ended in a crash. police say it all started around 2-30 a-m when a driver didn't stop for a chesapeake police officer. the officer chased the driver on to i-264 into norfolk. police say the driver hit the side of a townhouse at stoney point and john hancock lane. the driver jumped out of the car and ran. only 10 on your side was there as crews towed the car away. no one was hurt. virginia beach police exposed himself to officers picked up 69-year-old ralph gutshall earlier this month. they say the crime happened in his

muddy creek. if you were a victim-- or your child-- call the crime line. a suffolk native is charged with a gruesome murder in houston. 32-year-old curtis holliman is accused of dousing a houston attorney and his son in gasoline -- and then setting them on fire. the son did not survive. k-p-r-c in houston reports holliman was arguing with the victims when he got angry after being laughed at. holliman's bond was set at 100-thousand- dollars. his charges could be upgraded to capital murder according to prosecutors. we have surveillance video of a convenience store robbery. newport news police hope you may recognize the suspect. it happened last night at the hop and shop on jefferson avenue. you can see a man walk in with a gun. an employee gave him money-- and then he ran out. four people were inside the store at the time. no one was hurt. another robbery in newport news. this one at a mobil gas station on jefferson avenue. it came in this morning as a hold-up alarm. detectives say the suspect displayed a

tonight the virginia beach council is expected to appoint a new city manager. council held a closed session this afternoon and is meeting right now to vote and approve a new city manager contract. the new manager will replace james spore. he served as city manager for 24 years. he just retired december 31st. portsmouth city council meets tonight after recent drama over a policy aimed at silencing members-- and the mayor's recent arrest. tonight will be the first regularly- scheduled council meeting since councilman bill moody paid a 15- hundred dollar

geese and ducks landed in the jet fuel friday. rescuers began bringing dozens to the virginia beach s-p-c-a...which quickly went through its entire supply of soap, towels and gloves. and that's when the community stepped up. orlando police released video that shows just how dangerous a routine traffic stop can become. :03-:07 bang. bang. bang. shots fired. shots fired. police say they pulled over a 17- year-old for a seat belt violation, and that the suspect refused to stop. so officers smashed the car's windows with batons. the suspect then backs up into a parked car --before trying to make another escape by coming right towards one of the officers. the officer fired four shots he says to protect himself. a witness couldn't believe the chaos. 1:07-1:15 in pkg "everything happened so
