fisher, 10 on your side. a man suffolk police say was involved in several crimes is out of the hospital and now in jail. 23-year-old kevon hawkins faces a list of charges including robbery, assault and gun charges. officers tracked hawkins to the super 8 on north main street on january 12th. they say a woman came out, and hawkins shot himself in the face. he was released from the hospital on wednesday. a follow-up now to a house fire in chesapeake-- where crews found a body. the body was discovered after they put out the fire on hoover avenue, in the south norfolk section. that sparked a death investigation. police have now ruled it a suicide. we are working to find out what caused the fire. a judge denied bond for a norfolk assistant principal charged with a sex crime. 64-year-old gary jordan will remain behind bars. police say jordan made inappropriate comments to a child. he is the assistant principal at madison alternative center. police say the incident happened on january
