we are following developing news out of chesapeake, in a murder-suicide that left an entire family dead. we've been following this story since it broke wednesday night. here's a look at how close the two crime scenes are in the deep creek neighborhood. landon dooley was found dead wednesday sometime around 3:30, in his home on wildwood road. the investigation led police to the intersection of north george washington highway and wintergreen drive around 7 wednesday night-- where the other five bodies were discovered. 10 on your side's andy fox joins us live at the scene. andy you've been talking to neighbors and investigators trying to piece together the gap in the

willing to go above and beyond for others." deputies say they got a 9-1-1 call from an adult man monday night. he told authorities he agreed to do landscaping for walker, but when he got to his house -- walker led him inside where the sex acts allegedly occured. on tuesday, deputies arrested walker. on thursday, the district attorney dropped the charges. the clerk telling 10 on your side "additional evidentry evidence necessary." fisher, 10 on your side. a man suffolk police say was involved in several crimes is out of the hospital and now in jail. 23-year-old kevon hawkins faces a list of charges including robbery, assault and gun charges. officers tracked hawkins to the super 8 on north main street on january 12th. they say a woman came out, and hawkins shot himself in the face. he was released from the hospital on wednesday. a follow-up now to a house fire in chesapeake-- where crews found a body. the body was discovered after they put out the fire on hoover avenue, in the south norfolk section. that sparked a death investigation. police have now ruled it a suicide. we are working to find out what caused the fire. a judge denied bond for a norfolk assistant principal charged with a sex crime. 64-year-old gary jordan will remain behind bars. police say jordan made inappropriate comments to a child. he is the assistant principal at madison alternative center. police say the incident happened on january

road - the same block where the school is located. jordan is due back in court in march. a van crashed through a fence and into a storage shed outside a portsmouth home. this is at claremont drive near deep creek, right by the chesapeake border. dispatchers say the driver had a seizure-- and lost control. the man who lives there says he was asleep when it happened and thankful he was not exercising in the shed. drugs found in a virginia beach cell mean more charges for an inmate. 27-year-old zachary creekmore was booked into the jail wednesday when his bond was revoked on burglary charges. he was searched and no drugs were found. but later that evening --- deputies received a tip about drugs in the jail. they say they found marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy inside one of the jail cells. the sheriff's office believes the drugs were swallowed and retrieved inside the facility. coming up on wavy news 10 at 5:30- closing the pay gap. what president obama is proposing

concerned chesapeake neighbors can expect some answers from the navy next week about contaminated water in their community. 10 on your side first reported the issue near fentress landing field last week. test results showed that drinking water near the field had high levels of dangerous chemicals. the navy says they were in firefighting foam used in training exercises. now the navy, e-p-a, the city and state agencies will talk with residents tuesday. the meeting will be held at butts road intermediate school from
