police say a 26-year-old cameron dooley shot and killed five family members before killing himself-- and today, we're learning more about the crime scenes. andy fox is live with search warrants now available at circuit court. these are the two search warrants that reveal a little more about what was happening at the dooley homes. the first search warrant for todd dooley's home on wildwood road says at 3:30pm chesapeake police contacted in regards to the welfare of a person. the search warrant states a body was seen through a window. police entered the home and found a person truned out to be landon dooley dead with a gun shot to the head. no one else was in the home. the officers then respond to doris dooley's home and find her grandson cameron in the home who is refusing to exit the home. the search warrant was obtained while negotiations were on going last wednesday night, and after cameron admitted to police that he had killed a second person, his grandmother, who was still inside the house.

too. no other information is given on any of the other dooley age 17. in the george washington highway home they find and take as evidence 40 cal. casings, gray blanket silver chain, primer residue kit, and swabs in the wildwood road house they find and take cell phones, 40 cal. casings, a bat, medication, holster, 4 rounds, shot gun, 2 hand guns. todd was a recently retired chesapeake police officer so the guns are not unusual. we are posting these search warrants online and you can find them at wavy.com a bomb scare closed three schools today in northampton county. just a little while later - another school in accomack county also evacuated after receiving a bomb threat. 10 on your side's deanna leblanc joins us live. deanna-- no weapons were found at the schools? no, the schools were given the all clear around 2:30 this afternoon.

the schools at 10am. part of the reason it took so long - is because there are no bomb sniffing dogs on the eastern shore - and they had to be driven up from state police in chesapeake, and from virginia beach police. driven up from state police in chesapeake, and from virginia beach police. school administrators say the students and staff evacuated moments after someone phoned in the threat and said the alleged bomb would go off 40 minutes later. because the caller didn't specify which school - students stood outside at all 3 schools until 11:45 this morning. during that time, school staff and sheriff's deputies walked the buildings to look for anything suspicious. while they did not find anything - the sheriff tells me he wanted to then bring in dogs to do a second sweep. at that point - the decision was made to send

because those dogs and their handlers had to drive up from vsp offices in chesapeake, and also from the virginia beach police department. thankfully, the dogs confirmed that the schools were safe. and there was another eastern shore school that received a threat today. that was in accomack county, and that one was school specific. but, today was a teacher work day - so there were no students at the school. that school was swept by dogs that came down from maryland, and the teachers went back in. now both the accomack county and northampton county sheriffs departments are 10 on your side. we are learning more about the murder of a 13 year old girl from blacksburg. today prosecutors revealed nicole lovell was stabbed to death the day she vanished. lovell was reported missing wednesday. two virginia tech students have been charged in her death: 18-year-old david eisenhauer and 19-year-old natalie keepers. eisenhauer

the man hit and killed while crossing the street in hampton. police say 39-year-old wilbert sanders died. officers say around 6:30 last night, a car hit him as he walked across west mercury boulevard. they believe he was headed towards langley square shopping center. the driver was not hurt, and police have not said anything about charges. we're on your side looking for answers about contaminated water. a major meeting of the minds is happening now in chesapeake this after test results showed high levels of a chemical found in fire extinguishing foam in the drinking water. last month we reported that test results showed drinking water at fentress showed high levels of chemical used to fight fires. the navy says the chemical is not regulated by the epa, but they decided to play it safe and give water bottles for on-base personnel. tonight, concerned residents are learning more about contaminated water. the meeting runs until seven at the butts road intermediate school. virginia beach police are investigating a sexting scandal involving high ocean lakes discovered

the documents reveal: a 17-year-old student admitted to having an app on his i- phone, disguised as a calculator, that stored multiple nude photos of at least eight female students. he also admitted to distributing those photo--s without the young women's consent. so far , no charges have been filed. tomorrow, more than 700 workers to be laid off from newport news shipbuilding. two months ago, we told you the yard gave workers notice about the cuts. we have learned the virginia employment commission plans to come work with local unions, in hopes of getting the workers employed again. shipyard officials tell because of a decreased workload. a local seafood restaurant announced-- it's shutting its doors soon. charlie's seafood on shore drive made the announcement on their facebook page. they called it "bittersweet" news. the restaurant has been serving award- winning she crab soup-- among other seafood delicacies--- and of course memories -- for the past 70 years. they invite the public to have one last

two people are recovering from smoke inhalation after an early morning fire in virginia beach. firefigthters say it started in a garage at a home on winterhaven drive in the castelton area. the fire didn't spread to the house, but firefighters say there is smoke damage inside the home. investigators ruled the fire accidental. firefighters tell us smoke detectors woke up the residents and allowed them to get outside. portsmouth police are trying to find who robbed a pizza delivery driver. officers say it happened road. that's off beechdale road. investigators tell us the two armed suspects took pizza and cash from the driver from chanellos pizza. the driver was not hurt. call the crime line if you know anything.

the death of a young girl prompted one school district to step up safety rules. schools are encouraging parents to bring helmets to school if their child plans on riding his or her bike. 10 on your side's lex gray spoke to the family about what it means to them that their little girl-- is making a difference for future generations. tom and nicole, even two months later, it's easy to see the effect of bri blumenthal's death. this is the intersection where she was hit on her bike... you can see the memorial behind me. and as kids bike by after school, there's been a deputy out here, watching to make sure they have their helmets on. thanks to bri's dad and the community, no one
