deputies found a man shot outside a home on raymond townsend lane in 22-year-old robert baytops the fourth died at the hospital. deputies haven't made any arrests. hampton police are looking for the suspect in a shooting. detective say alexander king shot a woman during a robbery january 29th --- while she sat in a car on towne centre way. the victim survived. if you can help police find king --- call the crime line. prosecutors have presented their case against the man accused of tossing a child over a fence after a high speed police pursuit. state police arrested devonte johnson back in october. they say he was going more than 100-miles- per-hour on providence road in virginia beach. investigators say he crashed into a house then threw a toddler over a fence. 10 on your side's joe fisher was in the courtroom when johnson faced a judge and has new information in the case. two felonies -- three misdemeanors are moving forward here in virginia beach court against devonte johnson. he's the man who

river road. he eventually slammed into a townhouse on peppermill place. here's a look at the 22-year-old johnson. he's reon road --- taking off from police against at speeds reaching 100 miles an hour. we now know a three year backseat when police caught up to him he took off on foot with the child --- and eventually "tossed the child like a basketball" over a six foot privacy fence on peppermill place. a virginia state police trooper testified in court today --- saying johnson eluded and resisted arrest several times. his lawyer outside court gives a new reason on why johnson took off from police. super = william taliaferro, jr./defense attorney "he gave the police a statement that someone tried to rob him earlier at a small mart around there somewhere and that initially he was running from those people." a grand jury has indicted a portsmouth man for allegedly taking indecent liberties with a child. court documents say donald womack gave the 15-year-old victim money, food and alcohol. on three occasions, the documents say the alcohol made the teenager pass out. police say womack innapropriately touched the teenger in october and november. in 2012, a judge sentenced the 41- year-old to serve eight months of a five year sentence for taking indecent liberties with a child. he now faces five new charges. a man is behind bars accused of two robberies in virginia beach. police arrested 63-year-old raymond ellis on abduction and robbery charges. he's accused of approaching victims in a parking lot on rosemont road on january 16 and on january 26 . detectives say ellis approached the victims with a knife. one was sexually assaulted. new information in a deadly robbery in hampton.

hampton police say they have a suspect in custody. police say an employee of the gift card atm store on west mercury boulevard shot two suspects last month. 18-year-old timothy johnson died at the scene. 21-year-old tacarie veney was also shot and went to the hospital. now veney is in jail facing a list of charges. the employee who shot the suspect isn't facing charges because he was legally carrying the gun. portsmouth police are searching for a robbery suspect. officers say someone hit the dollar deals on victory boulevard around 7 last night. this is surveillance video. no one was hurt. the southampton county sheriff's office is investigating a deadly crash. it happened around 5 last night at the interesection of main street or 58 and rochelle street in courtland. investigators say 81-year old alice ricks' car crossed the center line and hit another car head on. she died at the scene. ricks wasn't wearing a seatbelt. the driver and passenger of the other car were hurt. investigators say there was heavy rain at the time of the crash but

they don't know exactly why ricks' crossed the center line. testing is beginning on sexual assault evidence kits in virginia. it's part of a 1-point-4 million dollar program being led by attorney general mark herring's office. the goal is to clear a backlog of more than 2-thousand untested physical evidence recovery kits. the commonwealth finalized a contract to perform the testing at a northern virginia facility. the first kits submitted for testing will come from virginia beach and fairfax county. some of the sexual assault evidence kits date back to 19-88. detectives have them on tape. now local police are trying to track down two men responsible for a crime spree at the same kind of business. we'll show you the video of them in action. a special delivery service has launched in our area. we have all the details coming up. one-on-one with virginia beach mayor will sessoms. hear what he told 10 on yout side's andy fox about the "conflict of interest" scandal. a live look right now

available for $7.99. two-hour delivery is free. google fiber is planning to give free high speed internet to thousands of low- income americans. the first place to get it --- a 13-hundred household community in kansas city. the company says it intends to wire select public housing buildings in all of the cities where it operates. it's part of a plan the white house launched last summer to connect low-income households to the internet. a california man is suing mcdonald's over what he says is fake cheese in the fast food restaurant's mozzarella sticks. he is asking for his dollar-and-27 cents back and damages for customers he says were misled. mcdonald's website describes the cheese sticks as made with 100 percent real mozzarella. but the lawsuit claims that the fast food chain instead uses starch additives and other "filler" ingredients. mcdonald's denies the allegations. mcdonald's is making changes to its popular happy meal. from now until february 15, instead of a toy --- happy meals will contain one of four kid's books.

local police are looking to lock up two men they say continue to steal from abc stores. detectives believe they have hit more than a dozen times. portmouth police shared video of the crime with jason. most of the time the suspect comes in alone with a cell phone to his ear and in just a matter of minutes stuffs a bottle down his pants. this is video from the abc store on london boulevard in portsmouth. there you see the suspect right there. police say he always wears the same hat and same coat. on this occasion he is there with his side kick who distracts the employee. police beleive they have hit more than a dozen and a half times in the last couple weeks throughout hampton roads. 55=:52:12 "what we want to do is bring them in and question them but we also want to help the abc store solve all these crimes." coming up tonight at 5:30-- we will show you more video of these two suspects plus the car they are driving around in. see

if you can help police track down these suspects. live in the newsroom jason marks 10 on your side. a prosecutor says two virginia tech students plotted to kill a 13-year-old girl and hide her body. that new information came out druing a bail hearing for 19- year-old natalie keepers. the commonwealth's attorney says keepers and 18-year-old david eisenhauer met at a fast-food restaurant to plan how they'd kill 13-year-old nicole lovell. the prosecutor says eisenhauer admitted to driving to lovell's home, that he saw her climb out of her window, greeted her with a side hug and then brought lovell to keepers. authorities found a weapon but it wasn't described. the commonwealth's attorney didn't give a possible motive or describe how the killing was carried out --- but says lovell's body was put in the back of a lexus. eisenhauer is accused of kidnapping and fatally stabbing nicole. keepers is charged with being an accessory before and after the crime, and accused of helping to hide nicole's body. at the end of the hearing --- the judge denied bail for keepers. the newport news

take on bernie sanders face to face before new hampshire votes on tuesday. the two candidates will meet on stage at the university of new hampshire. recent polls show sanders has a double-digit lead in the state. clinton is gaining ground. virginia elections officials have voted to throw out a party affiliation statement that the republican party of virginia had planned to implement in the march 1st presidential primary. the statement would have required all g- o-p primary voters to sign a form to declare themselves republicans before casting a ballot. a virginia republican party committee asked the state not to implement the statement a state elections official says it cost more than $62-thousand dollars to print and mail the required paperwork. we're on your side with information about an expanded recall from honda. the automaker is recalling another two million vehicles because the driver's air bag inflators made by takata can explode and hurl shrapnel. the recall includes older models dating back to 2005.

a colorado hospital is asking thousands of patients to get tested for h-i-v and hepatitis. authorities discovered that a former employee may have stolen narcotic pain medication. the 28-year-old worked during surgeries in operating rooms at the hospital from august 2015 until january of this year. authorities won't say how

patients could have been exposed. only that the tech could have put surgery patients at risk. we are hearing from the harrisonburg mother of three who became the first known case of the zika virus in the commonwealth. heather baker has made 4 trips to guatemala as a missionary over the past 16 months. her symptoms started as swolen lymph nodes, body aches, a rash and joint pain. a test last week confirmed she has zika. baker has taken extra precaution to prevent the spread like not sharing drinks or food with her kids. "we're being careful because there are so many unknowns."
