friday we told you the mermaid city may soon be home to a new fortune 500 company downtown. today i talked to people already working in the area about the impact this economic deal in the works could have. and at least for now, there's a lot of excitement in the air. as new buildings are rising, the framework of a revitalized downtown norfolk is coming together piece by piece. liberty new jersey to the bahamas. new englanders are bracing for another winter storm -- this is what it looked like a little earlier in hyannis massachusetts. many schools in the path of the storm were closed today. eastern massachusetts, rhode island, and most of connecticut are under a winter storm warning and could get around 10 inches of snow. not sure yet if the weather is to blame for this. a charter bus crashed in madison connecticut just after noon -- forcing a section of interstate 95 northbound to be shut down for hours. it reopened just before 5 pm. there were about 70 people on board the bus when it rolled-over. dozens of people were injured -- at least four critically. one local trauma center tells our sister station wtnh it has received 22 patients. tonight: evening showers taper by midnight. lows in the mid-upper 30s.
