breaking news coming in from maryland. we just learned two sheriff's deputies from harford county have died. they were both shot responding to a call. deputies also shot and killed the suspect. officials say one deputy responded to a disturbance at a panera bread just before noon. the suspect shot that deputy and took off. we're told a second deputy found the suspect and got into a shoot out. both the second deputy and the suspect were hit. was the first to locate the subject, and again, shots were fired. a second deputy was hit by gunfire. the suspect in the investigation was shot by harford county sheriff's deputies and is deceased. right now, that is as much as i have to share." messages of support from fellow law enforcement officers have already started coming down on

know as soon as we have more information. police in northern virginia say a man looking for medical attention - fired a gun at a hospital in reston early this morning. police say the 52-year-old man went to the hospital after he accidentally shot himself. they say he went to a locked entrance - that's when he fired a shot at a glass door, apparently trying to get someone's attention. once he was inside, police say another shot was fired. s/ron gotthardt/fairfax county police :12 "when they went to render aid he again displayed the handgun and allegedly fired another round, discharged another round inside the hospital. nobody was hit nobody was injured. security guards at the hospital were able to get the man under control. the suspect was stabilized and taken to another emergency room. criminal charges against the man are being considered. tomorrow the city of hampton will host a regional symposium to address crime in young african american males. it's something that's never been done before. the event is expected to draw a large crowd.
